The return of the Hob Kol Ur

#1

((Yes I know that I should probably have given a name to my tribe earlier but this is the first that I have been able to think about it let alone say anything.))

Urrgh was sitting over the fingers of the rescued whilst the other Tor’og who fought beside him went to rest. He trusted all in his tribe but this was a task of Shadow and Experience and only fellow Tor’og knew the ways of both. The mission over he looked over the fingers and closed his eyes, extended his hands, and concentrated. He would offer a piece of his life so that they may return to life once more. He could have waited for Ol’yi but who knows when the wizened Auf would return. Only four, he wished he could have helped more, but four was still better than none. “Return children of the tribes” was all he spoke as he called upon the leyas.

Drawing forth his own lifeforce energy inexchange for theirs, Urrgh recreated the children in mind, body and spirit. But they were incomplete and still retained some of the wounds and scars they had suffered in their previous life of slavery. The Children were Ur Mak, young hunters in training, and unsure of the ways of Tla’loc’al.
One of them stepped forward making a very Karovian motion of respect towards the Tor’og.

“I am Urnaya NaGul, and we thank you, whomever you are,” said the young female, “Where are we? Are we still…slaves?”

Urrgh smiled “No young ones you are not still slaves.” He nodded and gestured greeting in the ways of his tribe “I am Urrgh Tor’og and leader of the Hob Kol Ur.”

Still sitting he looked over each of the Ur Mak and relaxed but seeing the wounds inflicted upon them by other Olgogs made him uneasy. “My warriors and I set upon rescuing you from the bonds of slavery. It is why I have returned you to life.”

Placing a hand on Urnaya “It is why I give you all a choice. If you wish to return to your home tribes my Ur Tor will escort you home, however if you wish to stay we will welcome you all formally amongst us.”

“We wish to return and see our tribal lands in Karov, where we were taken from,” Urnaya said, “Great Tor’og Urrgh, we owe you a great debt for freeing us, but may we impose on you further. Might you, or your tribesmen take us there, so that if it is not what we remember we might return here to live with your tribe?”

She explains where her tribe lived near the hills of the Kolgul Militia in Karov. She waited expectantly for Urrgh’s answer.

Urnaya NaGul, gave Urrgh a hard stare and said, “I have a little brother I have to find. Will you help us?”

Days had passed since Urnaya NaGul had requested of Urrgh an escort to check on her tribe in Karov. She knew the olgog leader had been far afield fighting the enemies of the tribe.

Her dreamscape was filled with visions of the faces of her slavers and the last time she had seen her brother.

Torog Urrgh had returned aboard a Landship he had fashioned from a caravan vehicle.

Pulled by massive undead Yadol, it was now docked outside the caves of the Hob Kol Ur. She was impressed by such a vessel never before seen in the Goblin Lands.

Urnaya NaGul approached Urrgh with a determined look on her face.

“Mighty Tor’og, once again I come to you and ask you to help me track down my tribe and my missing brother.
Please take me to the lands of Karov if we cannot find them I will return here to serve you. But the lack of knowing drives me to great sadness.”
