Grand Magi Orloc Nightshade, master of the Kingdom of Kasanth, and lord of both Mada and Ryuk’s fates has heard of the conflict to the south. Having not seen the Goblin Lands since his youth, as a knight in the Church of One, Orloc was almost nostalgic about the trip. He left the Hell-City of Halth in the Kingdom of Kasanth aboard his own private Death Cloud airship with a defensive wing of Yrs Fightercraft and a pair of decoy Death Cloud airships armed to the teeth.
It took a few days, as Grand Magi Orloc took the long way out across the Nightmare Moors then back across the Dargor Lowlands. Flitting between the War Council of S’vana and the Provisional Colonies Border, they stealthily hid themselves in clouds and were never spotted by EEF or IR spy satellites. When he arrived at The Sierra Mada, Orloc flew down in his personal skiff with an entourage of dangerous looking Vampyrs of all species.
Orloc was tall and thin and resembled his grandson Lurlock. But Orloc had a long whispy mustache, and pointed beard and dressed even now in the highest quality of plate mail.
Neither Ryuk nor Mada had ever met Grand Magi Orloc in person. But he was quickly vetted and confirmed, and they all settled into the Sierra Mada for a feast in Gran Magi Orloc’s honor. He embraced each of his subordinates, and they did not know what to expect next.
Along with his entourage of Vampyrs, many of the nightmare-kuliek hybrid Knights of Orloc arrived with their master. Soon the Sierra Mada had a force of fifty Knights of Orloc, all defending Bartsport with their focus on the meeting between the Grand Magi and his subordinates.
With a chalice filled with Distilled Fear mixed with binber wine and virgin blood in everyone’s hand, the Grand Magi Orloc Nightshade raised his in toast, saying,
"I was so proud to hear that we have expanded our influence to these lands once more. I was once supposed to inherit the City of Bartsport from my father, and had given up hope of seeing this coastline ever again. My deepest gratitudes to Lord Mada for saving these lands in the name of the Kasanthian Kingdoms and the Kasanthian Federation.
My master, the Devil Bishop, once told me that Bartsport was a jewel on the coast. Its location right across the way from Dunesphere makes it a potential military and economic strongpoint. A new Port Unen for the cities to the southeast. But that was long, long ago…
I think I like this Sierra Mada. I assume as the Grand Magi of Kasanth, there is a room set aside for my stay? A Grand Magi Suite as it were. I want my Chief of Security check it while we continue our talks."
