Goblin Lands 2 Heroic Mission Week 20: Mag Der'al Vs. Mag Daron

#21

In Simonsburg (why must it always be Simonsburg?):
The Mag Dar’on will mostly be looking for Mag Der’al, so no worries about the Earthers being subject to them. However, the Mag Der’al was the bigger problem. Deploy 25 censor craft (full of Vandals) to Simonsburg. Keep healing the dead from afar. They will have amon them 40 artifacts of summon chimera, 10 summon sword fiend, and 20 summon hydra. These will be deployed against opposing forces, particularly mag der’al. Chimera will grab, lift, and carry them out of town. Then drop and use their void claws to destroy the blood. Against Mag Daron, hydras will be meat shields, sword fiends will distract and allow forces with 10 capture magi cannons to blast them with pain damage. Coordinate with EEF forces to capture additional Mag Der’al and “cure the disease”. Since there are plenty of hob’tor hammers/clubs around, use them as well as regular stone clubs. Try not to use fire against Mag Der’al that are known GNA forces. We want to resurrect them later. Eve will bless weapons for Earthers.

Before attacking Mag Daron, the Earthers will try to negotiate. “We’re a town of Earthers and Olgog. We do not protect criminals. We’re under attack by possessed olgog. Please don’t kill our allies and help us.” If the Mag Daron don’t care, then employ above strategy.

In Brez:
Rest of censor-craft patrolling, healing the wounded in the wake of the Mag Daron. Try to get as many citizens to hide in either tunnels or barracks that are built in. Let them remain hidden. Let only the fighters roam the streets. Urog, with his 50 Raiders, will patrol town. Vektor will have the op-u-lints and 50 Ur Rhug. Using comm crystals and Ur Rhug hidden throughout their territory, keep track of what’s going on where. Use Hydras to deter/slow down, (about 20 artifacts), 10 sword fiends to perform initial attacks, and 10 with earth elementals to grow vines, create pits, spears, and other things to slow down enemies. Otherwise, Stalkers will come up and attack invading enemies with elders on them. Against Mag Der’al, use EEF tactics (as proscribed by them) to “cure” the disease. Otherwise, break their limbs but don’t kill them. Knock out blows only. Lots of stone clubs lying around.

If the Mag Daron allow the opportunity to speak, Urog will say the following, with his tribals raising his charisma (troubador), “Greetings, kindred from the south. I know you are here to avenge the K’iou. We agree there needs to be vengeance, but it will not be found in Gang of the Uf Mag’og Territory. I hear there is an Uthvelor that may know where the Mag Der’al may be hiding. Seek him out, but do not attack my gog. We are dealing with the Mag Der’al ourselves. If you wish to help us weed them out that doesn’t involve death, we’ll be more than happy to work with you and our other allies to do so. But we will not subject ourselves to death and cannibalism.”

He will also decree in his own lands, "The Mag Der’al are considered criminals in the United Tribes of Der’al. They have attacked one of our Tribal leaders and have kidnapped him. It is a serious offense and anyone involved will be considered a traitor… against me. If you give yourself up now, I will have mercy and will not feed you to your enemies that come to hunt you. Some will find you and eat you, others will want to burn you alive. I will ensure neither happens. For all those that submit themselves before the Mag Daron come will be bound by binding needles (presuming other olgog than Urog can do it), until they can be “cured” by EEF. By those not giving themselves us, they will be rooted out (using methods described by EEF). Once we figure out that melee attacks do no harm to Mag Der’al, there will be swipe for swipes among all troops using daggers, which will then be healed by a censorcraft.

Rest of GNA, send them to either Simonsburg, or to commune together in other areas so that they can better take on Mag Daron. Send 25 censor craft through our lands, to at the very least heal the dead/wounded. If can’t be healed due to carnage, gather parts to be taken to Simonsburg for Eve to resurrect at some point.

Also, Zlattan the Singer of Songs would have SOngmancy going, resurrecting dead allies (mag der’al no longer considered those).

OOC: THIS IS PENDING PERMISSION FROM DERLER THREAD

OtO would encourage fastest path to the mail drop. If he ran across the Mag Daron it would be one on one combat, primarily parry until he can break the neck. Short, simple and to the point. He would scavange the weapons and armour, if any were there.

Against the Mag der’al, He would wait the first time, to see what happens. Mainly to get the timing of the attack/suicide explosion. He would then use is speed and strength to have them initiate the suicide attack, and then throw them in the air to explode at a safe distance.

If the EEF attacked him, then he would respond. He would use the weaknesses in the standard attacks, and then disable being attacking. If the are using power armour, he would take that (Along with taking the other weapons and armour ).

Micah and Valurk organized the defenses of the lab. The whole thing was underground, and was extremely hard to find, if you didn’t know it was there.

The bulk of the combat forces were off with Krodnok to take the Tomb Factory. The Standard force (30) remained, and were to be used to defend against the Mag Der’al and Mag Daron. They were familiar with the terrain, and could use that to their advantage. They wouldn’t engage in combat unless they were in the forested area. Jumping through shadows, they would use only their Vampiric Polearms, strike, and jump back into the Shadows. Any dead will be taken back to the Lab for Lotara.
The Mag Der’al Bodies will be stored for later. The Mag Daron will be Converted.
