Goblin Lands 2 Conquest Mission Week 24: Kalok, The Voice of the Volcano

#1

"I AM KALOK. I CLAIM THIS LAND AS MY OWN. EVERY LIFE IN IT IS MINE TO DO WITH AS I WILL. EVERY DAY YOU MUST SACRIFICE UNTO ME. TOMORROWS SACRIFICE, FIVE OLGOGS MUST PRESENT THEMSELVES FOR BRANDING AS MY BLACK LEGION OF KA RHUG.
IF THIS IS DONE I WILL BE SATED FOR A DAY.

IF FIVE DO NOT PRESENT THEMSELVES I WILL HAVE THIS CITY DESTROYED AND EVERY SOUL HERE WILL BE CONSUMED IN MY FLAMES.

I AM KALOK, KA RHUG ARE MY CHOSEN, ALL OTHERS ARE EITHER THEIR SERVANTS OR SIMPLE HERETICS TO FEED UNTO ME."

Kalok now lorded over the skyline of Simonsburg. So far only three have died in his worship. Two dressed in the clothing of the Ka Rhug and a third a common smithygog who took his hammer to the side of Kalok and died for it.
Already five scared Olgogs had approached Kalok and bowed down before it. It reached down and burned the face of each with a tendrill of fire and they now acted as his local priests.

Simonsburg has grown into a moderate township, with an outer wall, and an inner wall.

The place where Kalok rises from is in the town outside the outer wall. It is large enough to currently dominate the skyline, and its claws of fire will drop down, grabbing water and other goods and claiming them but so far has not attacked anyone who has not attacked it first.

Its powers, defenses and attacks are currently unknown, but seems to be able to consume the flesh of any who attacks it in close combat in ever-consuming flames.

After its five supplicants prayed to Kalok for a full 48 hours. Every twelve hours another five frightened Olgogs joined the praying until twenty five supplicants were praying loudly nonstop in front of the volcano incarnate.

Do you

A) Attack it in force? (number of troops, special attacks chosen, tactics)

B) Try and diplomatically convince Kalok the self-proclaimed God to leave Simonsburg?

C) Help it gather sacrifices for its final transformation?

Special Kolgol Ka Rhug Challenge.
If Kalok kills and consumes in his fire at least 187 sacrifices (either Ka Rhug or others/attackers) he will erupt in full and Kolgol may then describe how the Avatar of Kalok looks, and it will flow down and enter Kolgol’s body and leave the battlefield of Simonsburg safely.

Special UtR Challenge:
The Twenty five Worshippers present are simply scared Olgogs trying to protect their families. However they are between your forces and the statue of the volcano.

Tla’al was beside herself. She quickly relayed the information to Urog about what had happened, but the town was in disarray. She quickly organized a resistance, doing a slow evacuation of the town center. Many stayed below the city in tunnels and bunkers built by Yyan kol and expanded upon by her tribals. The hovertrains, still operable, took beings who could be evacuated to Brez. She then helped organizethe defenses… Just in case Urog had a plan

Urog wasted no time. The Ka Rhug were either lying to him or this threat really was an attempt to split apart the United Tribes of Der’al. He would let Vektor and Shirley figure out which was which. He had a city to protect. He set off with Urog’s Raiders (50) to meet his forces in Simonsburg via censor-craft (2). He had a tribal in Simonsburg meet their craft… He would need all the help he could get. He dabbed his face with ongagob cream and had the tribal use his song to.make him more charismatic (increase charisma, troub 1, lr 2).

He spoke to the townsfolk with an Earther translator, “Simonsburg, the Goblin King Urog stands by you all in your time of need. Kolgol of the Ka Rhug denounces this avatar as an imposter god that means to being war to the Great Northern Army and the United Tribes of Der’al. Together we will stand against this threat like we have against all others. The Church of One could not defeat us… Not once, not twice, not three times. This false idol will not. The Great Northern Army does not abandon you. I will not abandon you. Do not protect this false god. Only together will we defeat yet another enemy to the peace we have found between Earther and Olgog.”

Preparations: set up tactical positions, ready to use chill, tla (change tla ability to make into ice), and other things that would otherwise appear to put out fire. Until then, continue to evacuate the infirmed and the weak and wait for the cavalry to arrive. Hopefully, the Ka Rhug were not lying when they denounced this creature. For better or worse, he was also preparing what would be a sudden, but inevitable betrayal.

Hopefully the families protecting the false god will stand down after his speech.

Glog was not happy to be here, nor was he happy that his tribes attempts to help the UTR had gone ignored. But that did not matter. What DID matter was the safety of the civilians of Simonsburg and getting them away from the dark being. Calling on the 10 Ur Rhug of Or’Lur, Glog ordered each to take and keep a pair of Frost Storm Rings. Glog carried his own ring and the new artificed Nightmare hide Shield. If the other gogs wanted to play with fire then Glog was going to bring some ice for their burns. Along the way they would hunt what they could and use the hide to make a sort of uniform and would work on their Hand to Hand skills.

The Plan was simple, use the shadows to move as many civilians as they could out of harms way, hit any priest they see with the frost rings, give support to any UTR or Lur Union in the area. If asked who they are each will respond “We are the Frozen Fist.”

Forces & Gear:
Glog- Tor’og(pc) -1 Charisma; +1 EmC; +1 Temper; Shadow, Shape shifting 4; Fire 3; General, Water, Air, and Light 2, Earth 1
1 Obsidian Ring (Frost Storm 2 sec, Shadow Walk 3 sec, Consume Nightmare 2 sec, Easy Breathing 4Sec)
1 Nightmare Hide Shield of Ice Spear (hit to create a spear in users hand)

10 Ur Rhug Leyas Rating 4 (Adept), Shadow Lvl 3, General Lvl 1
Each with a pair of Frost Storm Rings.

Graf looked over the top of Simonsberg’s wall at Kolak and had to admit it was a pretty impressive sight. I still don’t see why anyone would worship a mountain but hey, no harm. Usually anyway, he shook his head and hit the transmit button on his radio.
“Check in,”
“We’re all set,” Dreg answered.
“Clearing some gawkers out of the way but we’re ready,” Mac said next. He got only a double click of confirmation from Flora.
“Good, sit tight for now. Remember if Ka Rhug shows up keep an eye on them. I don’t know if they have anything to do with this or not but its’ sketchy as hell.”

Both Outcasts trucks will deploy to Simonsberg. Each will have a driver and someone riding shotgun (literally) and Rum-blood and his boys will also go with them to provide security. They will be used to ferry evacuated civilians. Meanwhile five outcasts with sniper rifles (lead by Flora) will engage the fire demon using the gravedust ammo (each will have 10 rounds and additional regular rounds). They will maintain distance and concealment and will go for disabling shots (eyes and joints). They will move after every shot. Graf will be on the wall with two five man fireteams (standard weapons, each squad will also have a .50 cal and missile launcher regular missiles and two liquid nitrogen missiles each). They will only engage if the demon attacks the wall. Graf will direct the snipers and coordinate with Lalder’s gog with the com crystal so they can act in concert with the rest of the UTR forces. If any betrayal becomes evident the fireteams on the wall will engage the traitors and the sniper team will fall back to the wall and link up with the rest of the Outcasts on the wall. If things go very badly they will meet with the trucks at a pre-determined rally point and leave the city.

#5

Ser Resugent in response to Lalder’s request sends six Priests to tend to the wounded in the rear lines away from the Fire Demon. They shall tend to injuries using bandages and leyas (Priest will have Healing 1 and Medicine/Healing at 3)

#6

The family would array all its standard tribals in a semi circle formation around Kalok. The first task would be to save any tribals the other tribes missed grabbing them and shadow walking them to safety.

Each group of five would have one of the lesser elders leading them. The lesser elders would be protected by a mix of fire and chill leyas abilities they all had comm crystals to talk to themselves and the other UTR members present in the battle.

The standard vampyrs all had chillshielded armor. They would use their driftwood chill bolt pistols and shadow walls to damage and hold the fire demons attention.

The fire would hopefully distract the demon long enough for Mama Rapigog protected by her chillshielded poisonbringer mail and a comfortable aura and ice shield. She wielded the large club balbreaker. She would try to sneak up behind the demon and injure its legs. Hopefully banishing the beast (Club has banish at 5 successes). She had a comm crystal and would shadow walk away from the demon whenever area weapons like the missiles or lur union strafing runs were used.

Navigator Turin and the other 9 humans would be on structural fire control using their leyas water abilities to keep Simonsburg from burning to the ground.

After the battle was done the family would try to find evidence of what tribe or tribes summoned the demon.

#7

There is always one gog, that will sacrifice himself for others. Fortunately OtO is not one of those gogs. But as the first one prostates himself to this creature, he will make a good Shock Piece.

OtO would grasp at the base of the neck and head, ripping off the head (with spine attached). Shouting in earther, “ME OLGOG THE OLGOG ! CRUSH ME PUNY GOD WANNABE! FOLLOWERS GRASP HEAD IN CRUSHED!”

Throwing the severed head at the creature, he would charge, trying to get inside the creatures guard. Attacks would be fast going from the inner parts of the limbs, trying to remove skin so that others may pump ice directly into this creature.

OtO is only worried about minimizing damage to himself, and maximizing damage to this creature. buildings and other randoms gogs that get in the way are not a concern.

#8

The Yagogi would show up in force, working in 5 groups of 4. Each group would consist of a totem tribal, with a mak’ab, a king and a juvenile gor’ab (groups will be noted at the end); and yet no sign of Yagogi’al the Og’ab. The young gor’abs will be there to back up Urog while making his proclamation to the townsfolk, adding a tribal battle hymn and using ENHANCE BEAUTY to punctuate Urog’s speech. All the totem students except Zhgog’ol Maklur have come having communed with the spirit of Mal’ie and will act to evacuate the population, helping to flee from overwhelming danger. Maggul, was excited to be making his way to Simonsburg even though they were win a dangerous situation; it meant there might be the possibility of spending some time with Tla’al. Since there are others that can shadow walk, or pass tree, Zhgog’ol had communed with the spirit of Ontor to keep watch on things around the city and relay information through the comm crystal. Once the main population is safely away, they will go back for the twenty five worshipers, letting them know there is no need to fight, that their families and friends have been led to safety, and the worshipers will be sneaked out of harms way as well. The Mak’abs and Kings will use GROW VINES when there is nowhere for the mal’ie totem student to pass tree. In addition, if encountering Ka’ Rhug Balgog forces in resistance for the rescue efforts, Mak’abs will cast BANISH releasing the command of the fire spirits and the Kings will use CHANGE EARTH dismantling the chassis. For additional insurance, all Kings have come armed with the Olgogolem Pendant Armor. Once away to safety, Zhgog’ol and the juvenile gor’abs will administer any necessary medical attention, and HEALING LEYAS.

Over on the wall, would be Yagogi’al the Og’ab working with a UtR ally. Having Graf with communication to Lalder, and acting eye in the sky Zhgog’ol Maklur they will keep watch of the demon’s actions. If there is imminent attack, and Graf’s men start opening fire on the demonic entity, Yagogi’al will follow up using the might of the Sword of Mag Buskt, using MAG BUSKT’S DARKNESS. (And that should pretty much take care of that.)

Groups as follows:

  1. Zhgog’ol Maklur, with Hobya’Ab, Gibbs, and Urgog Mag’on
  2. Onigor, with Or’gog Mak, Ramm and Orgog’ol
  3. Maggul, with Makgog’Lallur, Bazman and Or’on Der’na
  4. Der’ LooDol, with Ur’na Lok, Capo and Darlur Auf
  5. Ol’Yyangog, with Yalar Took, Cougar and Sa’na Ol

6)Yagogi’al the Og’ab, makings a stand with Urik’s Outcasts.

Kolgol prepared his forces. His plan called for a three pronged offensive, it would be fast, and it would be unexpected, at least in some ways. He had been carefully planning the attack for weeks, coordinating the troops that would engage, and getting them properly prepared for the oblivion which was to come. He sighed, allowing his platemail to be fitted on to him, while he grasped his war axe and slid it into the loops the back of the armor. This battle would make or break his people, a loss would mean complete destruction, victory would bring glory and ascension for his tribe and his religion. Turning, he signaled his forces.

It was a vast army, impressive and intimidating in both size and appearance. Behind Kolgol strode 20 black clad kalokgogs, each holding various religious symbols of Kalok. Behind them were the legionaries, only thirty strong, but each dressed in bone and leather armor, topped with bone spike helms and shields. Javelins were held at the ready, and meteoric swords hung in sheaths and stuck through belts. Then came the rabble, the various odds and ends of society that had been picked up by the tribe in past endeavors that were not worthy of donning the armor, five ferals and four KGM recruits, armed typically but eyes bright with fervor for the battle. After them was Pluto, smiling to himself as he picked his way along behind the forces. Eru’Khaz then marched, brought along as he had demonstrated excellence in commanding automaton forces.

Then came the terrifying bit, the automatons. First the ten hellhounds, baying and howling rage and fury. They were not so organized as the rest of the forces, rather they flanked the army’s sides, and provided support. A flight of imps then flew, ten screeching and providing aerial support. They were a sight to behold when they flew in a formation. Lastly, came the Balgogs. Twenty five of them. Standing over twenty feet tall, they dwarfed the rest of the army. They went last because each footfall kicked up enough dust to blanket those who went behind. Fire burned from their eyes and mouths, yet their faces seemed almost stoic in their appearance. Thanks to Ol’lur, they had enough to fill the ranks and inspire fear in their enemies.

What was not evident was the other forces, the two other prongs which would attack. From the other side of Simonsburg would come another contingent, led by Kharos and Gor’mag. Kharos’s raiders, 15 hardy brezans armed with grenades and a heavy autopistol additionally, would unite with the five cursed balgogs. Blazing with green hellfire, they would destroy a section of wall and rampage through the city, their increased powers allowing them to burn even through fireproof wards and structures. Gormag would summon The Gordargor of Kalok to unite into the special attack Mercy of Kalok to obliterate any resistance the defenses could possibly pose. They would go through the city sow chaos and destruction where they went, while the raiders and Kharos would provide smaller support and hand to hand combat. (Note this will not occur until Kolgol has addressed the city as seen below vvv )

The third prong, and a vital one at that, came from the sky. The Inferno along with it’s cursed passengers, would land in the center of the town where Kalok made his home. From it would burst thirty five soldiers, the ones that had been prepared for the attack on the Tomb factory. Although their magi cannons had been destroyed, they still had shields, javelins, and the swords. (They wear aforementioned armor). They would form a semi circle ring of defense around the worshipers of Kalok, making a shield wall to protect them. The other eight crew would remain on the ship as they had little in terms of weapons/armor. Squire Dominic would then stride into the midst of the defense, and with a flourish of his sword, would stab it into the ground.

Kolgol, having arrived with his forces, would use Levitate to float into the air above the center of the city. As the sword was stabbed, he would create a Wall of Fire to fill in the other side. He would then address the city as the main army arrived and began to take control of the populace.

“Citizens of Simonsburg, I come to you, prophet of Kalok, and I ask you to stand down and see the true savior of this world. We must bow to this glorious being and allow his majesty to fill our hearts.”

He would be utilizing Restraint in the Face of Mob Violence to appeal to the people and make them see that it was not worth their lives to allow Kalok to claim them.

Nobody will attacked or killed until another party makes a move on either Ka’Rhug or Kalok. Once that occurs, the above mentioned attacks will be executed and the full wrath of Ka’Rhug will be wrought on Simonsburg. Kolgol will use Melt Metal (Greater) on any armor/weapons/vehicles that oppose his forces.

#10

Reshed looked out at the city of Simonsburg in the distance. He had been “given” five airships to get to Simonsburg, with Olgog’s wearing the dark-green uniform of the Rhug’na’ru army manning them. Most had a small, simple pin of the Hindengog, signifying their part in the air-forces. Few were without it, having more training on the ground than anywhere else. He pulled out his telescope and gazed out at the city, which they were keeping a safe distance from. Over the city was the being known as Kalok. He knew the name from their ally, the Ka’rhug, many times when they were assisting in the construction of stone buildings in Rhug’tor. However, he always figured they were slighly insane, from all the volcanic smoke, but he knew they were capable at what they did and didn’t question much.

At least, not till now.

A fire demon was what he was faced with, and from the early days of the tribe, he knew what fire did to bullets. They melted. They wouldn’t be able to do much to the thing called Kalok, but they could at least help the citizens get out of the city, provide some morale that often came from a well uniformed group. He however had his own mission. His hand went to his pocket, rubbing his fingers along a smooth bullet made of Zela. He wasn’t sure if it would effect this demon, but he would at least try to use it. Over his shoulder was a rifle, complete with scope. A little loan from Olav. His own personal mission was to get a shot at Kalok, or being of equal importance, with the bullet. He pulled his hand out. That would wait though.

Plan

The airships would land near the city, opposite the side Kalok is on. The Rhug’na’ru would then get into the city, securing key points where civilians may go though and get caught by Kalok. Reshed would get to a taller building and shoot Kalok in the “head” or other weak spot on the body. If worse came to worse, the Rhug’na’ru would work to get civilians and injured out of the city. If they saw any allies dead, they would make sure to get their bodies as a priority to return to their tribes. Their main priority is to return to the airships and lift off to engage Kalok. They would lift off into the air with minimum crew to fly and fire, the civilians down on the ground with the remaining Rhug’na’ru. They would fire their missiles and bullets at the being. The biplanes will have been unhooked and being flown around the city during the whole event. They would not engage if the situation was being controlled by the other groups.

People & Equipment

-34 Olgog Rhug’na’ru equipped with a standard rifle and rocket launcher
-Reshed with Zela Bullet and sniper rifle
-Five Rhug’na’ru class airships, fully armed, five biplanes hooked underneath (#2, #3, #6, #7, #9)

Four nomads:

  1. Smith the Earther, who looks on I’m horror as his “companion”, Olgog the Olgog rushes the demon
  2. Thrush, who hitched a ride with the Brezans to Simonsburg.
  3. Windsor Hamlock the Earther, who has been monitoring the situation since he knows someone is after Derlur.
  4. Yigog, the Karovian olgog, who was transported from the tomb of the Holy’s by the Quall to just outside this mess

Smith uses healing and air to help with crowd control. Heal the wounded, levitate those in peril away from the demon. Even if it means the “worshippers”.

Thrush starts a praying party. Depending on what’s what, lead the Earthers in prayer. Smith helps with old Church of one prayers for protection. Removing the nasty bits, of course. Hopefully, that protects the town if enough folk get involved.

When it’s time, do a prayer with Brezan Ur Rhug (if Gangs of uf Mag’og join in). All that shadow Leyas will be more effective.

Yigog shows up, says, “What in the name of all that is good and mighty is happening here?!?”. He makes his way to town, helping the citizens escape and protect themselves. Levitate is useful. Especially when you’re from a clan called “Clan of the Heavy Falling Rock”.

Windsor Hamlock knows the power of faith. He will focus on helping the townsfolk, using Shadow walk (special ability) to duck around and get to where he needs to be. And use levitate liberally. They will watch as the other Olgog endeavor to attack the creature. Windsor will give a signal to shoot the creature with a Zela round, but only if the olgog’s Leyas efforts aren’t working. He’ll also encourage the disruption of the worship circle. Summon phantasmal familiar to run folk off. Or, even better, appear like they’re doing the levitating. The familiar should look like a large animal (narrator discretion).

#12

Makka’na, Knight of Simonsburg, had flowers braided into her fur as she rode forth on her fire spirit. Her armor was freshly shined, and a cape of flowers drifted behind her. Next to her also rode three other Red Fur knights, equally shined armor, and each carrying a sharpened Krato-bone Poleaxe.

Four Knights would stand before the great Kalok and his worshippers.

Makka’na will raise her poleaxe in challenge saying, “The people of Simonsburg will never bow before you…False God!”

Then Ya’ka and Ka’ka would begin chanting, “Great and Eternal Ka Gor’na come forth and slay this pretender. Capture its spirit and drag it down and bind its evil.”

Then praying the Ka Gor’na will protect them, the four Knights of Simonsburg will ride down to slay the priests of Kalok.

In battle the Knights would use hit and run tactics on their Fire Spirits. If knocked from their fire spirits they will use their axes to defend themselves. During the entire battle they will sustain Protective Aura.

#13

Lalder was concerned about this demon. He saw the betrayal coming and he didn’t even want to admit it. If he was wrong about this, he would own her Lur Union ally a big appology. But Kolgol an appology. But after the recent betrayals he was not taking any chances. Lalder would fully communicate to Urog and back him up if needed. Lalder ((Auf) LR:6, Heal:4, Light: 4, Shadow:3, Air:3, Earth:6, Fire:3, Water:4, General:2, Shape:3, Summ:3, Troub:3) Adj: (Charisma +4 (Item), Edged W 2, Temper 2, Melee Strike +2, Rapid Throw +2)

Tor’ab, his apprentices, and 15 Goblin Raiders:
Tor’ab, 10 Ur Rhug apprentices, and 15 Goblin Raiders all dressed in Armor of Auf Lal’al, Phoenix strike Pistols, Wave motion Fist Gloves. The Ur Rhug apprentices would be wielding old style magi cannons. Additionally they will have Summon Chimera Leashes.

They would be the fast reaction group to reinforce where needed. They will use Earth, Light, and Shadow leyas when needed. They will ride and fight with the Chimera when stealth is not needed.

Urik’s Tribe
First Lalder sent all the grave dust he had over to Urik’s tribe so they could use it in their bullets to shoot down the demon. Hopefully this would be enough for them. Lalon, would stay with Urik’s tribe providing Leyas support and communications back to the Carrier for coordination. Lalon ((Ur Tor Special) LR:5, Heal:2, Light: 3, Shadow:3, Air:2, Earth:3, Fire:3, Water:3, General:2, Shape:3, Summ:3) Adj: (Stealth 5, Rapid Throw +1), Has armor of Auf Lal’al, Phoenix Strike Pistol, Ring of Healing (Cure Disease, Heal Internal Damage, Cure Poison (3 succ)), Ring of Tunneling.

Scouting and Auf Lal’al Radar
Lalder was busy installing his new Radar onto the Carrier, Destroyer, and a few Lur Union Fighters. The idea was to get enough coverage to cover the Simonsburg area to know what troops are moving in and out of the area. Specificly they were looking for any group trying to surround his allies or his tribe.

Any unknown group would have an Ur Rhug scout sent to the area. The Scout would keep to the shadows. They would have a crystal that links to only one other crystal on the carrier so that they can report, but if the crystal falls into the enemies had they can’t listen to the others. The Ur Rhug would have a summon Air Elemental Feather using the air elemental to spy closer than where he can go.

Kalok
If Urog was having trouble getting the followers away, after letting Urog know of the plan, 8 Summoners would summon Air elementals to remove the air from around the followers to knock them out. Also this would include Kalok with the hopes of limiting his fire as it needs oxygen to burn. Then Summons would be used to remove the knocked out followers from the area.

For Kalok statue itself. That they are leaving up to Urik hopefully. But once the area is cleared of the followers, Lur Union Fighters, if needed, could strike at range with the Lasers and Shadow leyas Chill mines. 10 Apprentice Aufs would at distance fire Holy at the statue.

Balgogs
If the Balgogs attack any Allies, swift action would be taken. First Balgogs would not be allowed to surround any forces. If approaching, one gog would be sent to to tell them that the Lur Union did not approve their deployal. Any farther would seen as an attack. If I don’t make it back, it would be seen as such too.

If the balgogs leave, no further action against them would be taken.

(OOC what the balgogs wouldn’t know is there is someone listening on a commcrystal, so they would know what happened to the messenger and res him back at the carrier.)

The 10 Lur Union Fighters would strike the balgogs while Tor’ab’s group would engage the Balgogs using Change Earth and magi cannons to keep at range. (Note all will use Chill shield and the Armor of Auf Lal’al).

Defence:
All gogs who are on the ground or in danger would leave a finger tip for later resurrection. All gogs will be using Chill shield, ice shield, and protective Aura. All will be equiped with Wave motion gloves, All gogs have Armorfiends vests.

Torlok’ab did not like having to leave the Isle of Holys while he was still learning all the defenses of the Tomb. But he could not in good conscience let a Demon run amok. Captain Tormag’ru would have come but they could not leave Drewsport un defended if the demon got loose. He know that Greater demons don’t just appear, so there are cultists around here somewhere. It would be best if those fighting the Demon were not taken from behind by its allies. By the old Laws, those working for Demons could be put down.

Torlok’ab arrived in his Scarab, with 4 troopers and 2 ex-kolgol militia. He has decided to limit the power of the demon by attempting to prevent it from consuming souls. the militia will use teleport and shadow walk to aid in getting ppl out of the town and to support personnel in a safer area. the Troopers will proceed to disable/kill any cultist and or demonic beings that appear. torlok’ab will engage lessar demons first using banishing attacks (shield of redeemer 3) or switching to his hellforged revolver if necessary.

forces:

Torlok’ab - Dead Warmachine.
(lr 6, Shadow 6, blessing of the bladed sun, angels of the redeemer, shield of the redeemer 3, tough as nails, faith 1)
Gear: magicannon, cloak with shadow working (+20 ar to energy) Sylvan crystal of Revelation, Hellforged revolver, wraith belt, Fire proof amulet

4 Troopers- Standard dead
(lr 6, shadow 5, blessing of the bladed sun, angels of the redeemer, shield of the redeemer 2, tought as nails)

2 Ex kolgol Militia
(lr 6, earth 3, fire 3, shadow 5, general 2, healing 2, tough as nails)

1 Scarab strider
weapons: 2 Roaring Cannons of the Pirate King.
Upgrades: sylvan flight crystal, sylvan control crystal, sylvan comm crystal

the troopers will engage and kill cultists so that they can not aid the demon or harm townsfolk. the militia will engage in pulling out the innocent and recovery of all dead bodies (using shadowwalk/teleport ) to a location outside of town. that include allied and enemy bodies. allies will be healed. enemies will be stacked to the side for later investigation. Bodies will be protected with shadow working to prevent them from being burned.

Torlok’ab will engage lesser demons and demonically possessed beings to prevent them from aiding the Demon. If all other demonic forces are neutralized, he will turn his aid to defeating the demon once its support is gone. Any demon that he can banish with Shield of The Redeemer 3 will be banished that way. if that doesn’t work he will use his Hellforged revolver to put them down.

The Scarab will provide long range fire support with its cannons. If the situation starts to turn really bad, recovered bodies will be loaded on the scarab and then it will be sent to drewsport.

Urog let the other tribes handle the false god. He agree to Thrush’s plan and had Tla’al convince Eve to begin a townwide prayer. He would have 20 tribesmen sing a song of reinforcement to bolster their spirits (not a specific ability, but Troubadour) They’d first put the worshippers to sleep using troubador 2). Hopefully the evac would only leave those able to fight among the town (will PM Narrator those figures based on what I have) for later.

Urog told all defense forces that since Ka Rhug had not shared his plans for defeating the avatar that his troops not be allowed into the city. Alya’s messenger (the special unit from the diplomatic mission back in week 7?) would be sent to Kh Rhug advising him that his presence wasn’t needed in the city, that since he wasn’t part of the planning that he would just get in the way. If he approached Simonsburg, it would be considered an attack on the city and confirm the original suspicion that he was declaring war on Simonsburg. This decree by the GNA was not a suggestion, and should be taken seriously. Entry into GNA territory would be considered an attack on the GNA.

If he continued to march, the GNA forces (not directly controlled by Urog) were told to follow suit and declare it an attack on the GNA. Based on circumstance, they could attack when they felt they had enough numbers. They were told about the balgog’s weakness against change hoblal (earth) and tor’or (chill). If any troop is outmanned, they are to watch from afar and “accompany”, signalling the censor-craft, who will comm crystal across the territory to Brez. Wait for a smaller force to splinter off, and then attack accordingly (if it happens). Or run until reinforcements arrived.

For censor-craft (and in general) Lots of chill, because it’s what ur rhug do. The vandals will create area detriments to slow down attack and distract (vines, slick surface, create nightmares, etc)

20 censor-craft manning the territory filled with 40 ur rhugs and 10 vandals each armed with hobtor weapons. All have LR3. If any skirmishes, then reinforcements from Simonsburg to be called. (1/3)

Below are remaining GNA forces.
40 Raiders
40 Ur Rhug
50 Goblin Vandals
10 Ur Mak
10 Ur Rhug
10 Ur Tor
10 Ur Tor
lead by 10 Goblin Raider Chieftains
15 Olgog Raiders LR4
40 Hateful Word - Raiders that only fight GNA
40 Ur Rhugs - younglings that only fight GNA
UTR for GNA - 400 Ferals

Another 20 Censor-craft with 40 ur rhug and 10 vandals each, doing the same but closer to Simonsburg (for it’s defense). In invaded, the ur rhug would pour out to defend the city. 3 would shadowwalk the injured to the craft and heal.

Defense of Simonsburg
10 magi-cannons stolen from thomasville, being used by defenders
Urog’s Raiders (50)
60 Ur Rhug (each LR 4, 10 of each elemental use in addition to shadow for light, fire, earth, air, and water)
5 Olgog Colonials mercs
3 generic brezan kingz
Shirley, Urog, teco, jhoni, and rhug’ab
Hikiti, Tusk (“special” younglings)
Zlattan (special tribal)
20 tribesmen
Rubbah and Monkeywrench (named generic goblin kingz)

If Ka Rhug come close to Simonsburg, the town is to be rallied to the town’s defenses.

Defense against most Ka Rhug’s armies - chill
Against Balgog’s, per lalder, change Earth (20 artifacts of summon elemental to use by defenders of town to do the same). While never having seen some of the others, chill always works. Hobtor shouldn’t be a problem either as a weapon of choice.

Fire users would control fire and prevent spread and burn.
Shadow users would chill the enemy
Shirley would take on a “general” looking person in an army not directly Kolgol.
Against “demonic” - Hikiti wearing war-walker axe and armor would be deployed. He’s riding on a chimera.
Against the flying ship, 30 chimera would be unleashed (on artifacts)
20 sword fiends (on artifacts), would also be deployed against attackers
Dakon Drake the Mag Daron would take on the third incursion army, along with a contingent of defenders. Tusk would be with him, leading those particular troops.

Urog would take on Kolgol himself as he entered the city, stating that he was false in entering GNA territory without permission, and would not be allowed to come in. Kolgol would not be given opportunity to speak. His goal in the attack, weaken the enemy, and hit him with a binding needle and demand the attack stop from the rest of his tribals.

Zlattan would sing either songmancer - ressurect allies, or War Song (Ka Rhug not allies, everyone else in town is).

Rubbah, Earth 5, would rebuild walls, reinforce walls, etc, and/or acid strike enemies. He’d be riding a summoned chimera.

there are also 20 summoned lesser growlings as transport for troops from one area to another (artifacts)

Statlines to come… there are too many for this post.

Krodnok had received word of what was going on in Simonsburg, and it angered him. He stopped back at the Lab, and retrieved a contingent of warriors, 50 Dead Olgogs in total.

They arrived in Simonsburg, ready to fight. But first, something had to be done. All of Krodnok’s warriors wore hooded cloaks, and once the group arrived, dispersed, losing themselves in the crowd. Once enough time had passed, Krodnok moved smoothly from the back of the crowd, to the very front, looking towards where Kalok blocked out the sky. He currently wore his wings as a cloak, and had a strip of cloth across his forehead.

He turned back towards the crowd. “That, thing,” he began, “is not a god. I am a god. That thing demands that you worship it, that you give yourselves to it. Claims you as its possessions.” From Krodnok’s people in the crowd, soft noises began, almost like 'boo’s, in an attempt to sway the crowd from Kalok.

“I ask you for your faith, because you are individuals, and have the right to your own choices,” he continued. If you follow me, it’s because you want to. If you don’t, that is also because you chose not to. I am a god." More whispers from Krodnok’s people, this time, thrying to push the crowds feelings, their beleif, towards what Krodnok was saying. Krodnok turned his body a little, still looking at the crowd, and pointed behind him towards Kalok. “That is a tyrant.”

His cloak slowly ‘melted’ and formed his four wings, also revealing his lower pair of arms. He reached up and removed the cloth on his head to reveal a large blinking eye. Krodnok’s warriors removed thier cloaks and readied their Magi-Cannons. “Now,” Krodnok said. “Allow me and my followers to keep you safe from tyranny.”

He turned and opened his wings to their full wingspan. He took to the air, and his followers dropped into shadows, heading towards the battlefield.

(Ooc: The speech is an attempt to gain more followers… Krodnok has a charisma of 4, and gets +3 to all rolls through the faith.)

Krodnokand his followers all cast Chill Sheild on themselves (+10 A.R. vs. Energy), and Krodnok also activates Skin-Like-Steel (+7 A.R. vs. Melee, Missile, and Energy) on his belt.

Krodnok will use his Magi-Pistols (3d6+6 chill dmg) in his upper pair of hands, while the lower manifests a pair of Hell-Guns (10 dmg, demons take No A.R. dmg).

50 Dead Olgogs are with him. On the ground, they weild Magi-Cannons (3d6 chill dmg) and will use Shadow Walk to keep moving from place to place.

Krodnok targets Kalok with his attacks at all times, staying in the air and moving constantly, occasionally loosing a blast from the Illuminated Eye in the direction of Kalok.

The 50 Dead Olgogs on the ground target Kalok, and any who attempt to assist it.
