Goblin Lands 2 Conquest Mission Week 22: The Karovian Deathsquads

#1

The Tor’Lallur have protected their home, despite a slight to their offense and to their religion. They now have two Pits to protect but hold the surface, and the underground.

The GulTor’Uf have been driven from the vast hunting grounds of their ancestors. The surface is now controlled by the Armies of the True Flame who have created a base for “recovered ferals”. The Armies of Eloga are withdrawing back towards their own lands with the captured Uhryus.

The Yagogi Lands have been overrun with Unit 7756 Dead. The Unit 7756 control the surface. The Yagogi control the canyons and a few caves that connect canyons to create a small network. The Unit 7756 controls the air. The Yagogi desperately need backup. Anyone walking on the surface during day or night is hit with 8 hits by magi cannons with automatic hits and Sniper (+7 Dodge T#) each combat round. It will take 2 rounds even with the best scouting to discover what direction the attacks came from.

All Lands are now also under assault by VofV Robot Armor hunting the Mag Der’al who will attack and kill anyone who is not a Feral, Tor’Lallur, Yagogi, GulTor’Uf or native Karovian.

Mission Rules

Bill had work to do, as always. Why is it that everyone that everyone wants to force everyone to do things there way, what happen to live and let live.

Such a mess.

At least he should make an attempt to restore some semblance of peace. Between everyone. Hopefully he will be able to get peace to happen before Rapi’og does something stupid again.

OOC: Everyone gets an invitation (including ferals, the Mag Buskt, Mag Yyanyi, and the other NPCs He can reach).

Bill teleports to where his tribe his staying. Immediately, a few of the gogs try and comfort him.

Rapi’og looks at Bill “We tried it your way, now its my turn”

The ground become moist as tears fall from Bill snout.

He starts running, and 40 Ur mags, 7 adepts, 5 vandols, and an uhryu apprentice start following him.

The goal, the cart with the members of his tribe, using half the ur mags to summon chimeras and minor spirits, the idea was to use this as a distraction for the other Ur mags to gather the dead members of the tribe. The adepts were to provide cover support and healing, while the Uhryu apprentice would start reviving the dead gogs as soon as he could.

After they were gathered, they would run.

Uruf couldn’t believe the Karovians were in full civil war he just had to see it himself.
He had faced more than his fair share of Dead during the gods war. He knew their tactics and preference to shadows. Using binoculars he would spot for dead as they moved. Once a single dead could be seperated they would be pinned in place by using mud wave and change earth.
The dead would be destroyed by crushing between stone pillars from the sides of ravines.

Uruf would collect a magi cannon and if the Dead retreated he would let them. As long as it was a genuine giving up of lands.

Then he would take the Magi Cannon to GulTor’Uf lands and use it to pop VofV robot armor. Any robot armor that swarmed him would be hit with reverse metal. No final death.

Earthers would be driven from Karov the hard way. Abel wouldn’t approve but Uruf wasn’t an ascended being.

#5

Castiel gave order 221. As the order was shouted across the lines to every team they began to withdraw. Collapsing from the outside into a gigantic loose diamond of pairs they began to bound back to their lands.

No tricks or traps would be left behind. Castiel would hold to his word and the dead would retreat slowly as odd pairs moved forward while evens guarded them and then vice versa. Not needing rest they would continue into the night pushing there way home.

The Dimension Walker knew that the greatest threat to the horned dogs spreading would be the Uhryus.
He needed to stop the spread of Uhryu Reformism if his own faithful were to survive.
One tribe at a time. He had hoped to befriend the GulTor’Uf and use them against the hated Warmonger’s Dead. That plan had failed.

But the Dimension Walker had plans within plans for just such a circumstance.

As the Elder he had manipulated Gorkaog into thinking the Ka Gor’na had commanded the Uhryus must die.

A horned dog KGM would help Gorkaog sneak past the actual Der’al Collective troops.
At the height of attack by the Earther VofV Robots he would burn the Uhryu bodies to ash. Final Death if possible. His orders were to try and time it to make it seem like the Earthers were responsible.

Meanwhile Gobbog would try and contact the VofV Comission. His message would be simple and direct and seem civilized.

“Earther Authorities, the Tribe of GulTor’Uf has failed to defend the feral reservation by starting wars with their neighbors. Only the GulTorUf criminals have been taken into custody. This encampment has been created to keep Feral families intact.”

Horned Dog Ferals would stand in front of Gobbogs soldiers begging the Earthers to stop the violence (almost daring the Earthers to gun down the Ferals). They would make it a diplomatic nightmare for the Earthers. Of course Gobbog didn’t know the Dimension Walkers plan.

The Dimension Walker had a final piece that would be put into place irrespective of success of the other two plans. He would use Melt Metal Greater to focus on the missiles and other explosives used by the VofV to make it seem like their technology was unreliable even when used by Immutables.
If he can he would try and reveal any Mag Der’al hiding in GulTor’Uf territory to give the VofV more proof of “GulTor’Uf criminality.”

(OOC Note Approval for the UtR army to assist in Clearing UtR Land in Karov if the Dead do not retreat. Someone else will post more details)

First and formost, Tor’ab would work with the Tribes whose land he is in. For Karov, he is going to help the UtR tribes, especially Yagogi.

Tor’ab made sure to send out 3 Lur Uion fighters with 2 Tribesmen, Apprentice Auf to scout the borders just outside of the kill zones. The Aufs will create Spirit Scope workings to help in searching for the dead to make sure the areas they leave are clear.

Tor’ab and his apprentices will take 2 tribesmen pilots and 2 lur union fighters to respond to engagements.

All fighters are using Reflect Magi Cannon Leyas, Skin Like Steal, Ice shield, and Protective Aura.

If the VovF Robot armor attacks the Lur Union fighters will use their Chill Mine launchers to disable them. The Laser cannons and fireball Launchers are last resort.

Lalon told Tor’ab of the VoVf cameras and mics. If Tor’ab can find a Camera and a mic, or a member of the VovF, Tor’ab in Earther would say “I’m Tor’ab. We have pressured/convinced the Dead to leave Karov and UtR lands. Please do not attack our forces as we monitor that this is happening. We will defend ourselves, but not attack first. Also, if you are after the Mag Der’al, there is a vaccine to the sickness. We are working with the EEF and another group to remove them from our lands. But first the dead must leave.

We will not enter the reserve once ran by Gul’tor’uf, unless requested. Note that they cracked under the unrealistic pressure you put them on. You cannot let criminals get away with stealing otherwise you can’t feed the ones you are responsible for. Think on that.

We can work together again if are willing.”

Tor’ab will be true to his word and will not enter reserve unless to stop attacks. Hopefully as the dead left, that would allow the Lur Union Fighters of the Army and his to retake patrols of the UtR Lands.

Tor’ab’s remaining gogs would be monitoring his tribes lands to make sure no forces sneak into his lands. Additionally the gogs around the farms would be set to high alert incase someone decides to attack while the other distractions are being taken care of.

Both of the outcasts trucks(with extra armor mounted) and all four bikes (with .50 cals mounted) will meet up with and escort the Eloga forces out of Yagogi lands. They will make sure that the prisoners make it to trial and that no one interferes with the convoy and that all Eloga troops leave Yagogi lands. Each truck will have ten outcasts (9 with assault rifles and 1 with a rocket launcher in each truck) Flora will be on one truck to provide long range cover (with her sniper rifle) and Urik will be on the other with his grenade launcher. Rumblood and his boys will provide leyas support, concentrating on shields rather than attacking. They will use ice shield, wind shield and igloo to protect the convoy cloud cover, coughing cloud and slick surface to hinder any pursuit. They will also use chill metal against any vehicles or robots that might get in the way. Rumblood will also work some of the all the ammo with healing in case the unit 7756 or some other dead unit show up to cause trouble. The Outcasts will not attack anyone they will only engage if they or the convoy are attacked.

Tor’og would not allow the tribals of Gul’tor’uf escape before they were properly punished. As leader of Tor’Lallur, and the prime hunter he would make sure that they reached their destination. Leading the 10 Mak’ab hunters of Tor’Lallur (10 total) he would join with the escort force and protect it alongside his allies. Each would summon an Earth Elemental (Earth 4) who would use their leyas to prevent any rescue attempt.

Durandal’s Riders ride once again. After the successful defense of their towns from the evil of Mag Der’al they now ride into Karov to repay their allies. They shall fly flags of the Provisional Colony with a few Colonial Flags as well. If there are any VoFV units they shall stop and raise their hands showing that they are non violent. Paladin Captain Durandal shall ride forward without making any sudden moves so he could speak to the lead unit.

“Greetings friends. I am Captain Durandal of the Provisional Colony in the Goblin Lands. We have been aided by the natives in setting up the new colony and are answering a call to repay our debts. We mean no harm to the locals and will start no violence, we have been asked by the United Tribes of Refuge to aid in protection of this land from the Undead and their allies. We have been told that allies of the Undead were captured and were being escorted to a trial. We are here to help with the escort and prevent the Undead from trying to aid in their release. We recently fought against the vile Mag Der’al and are doing our part against them as well. If you will allow us, I wish to send some of my forces to aid you in your hunt. Twenty five of my mounted units shall move on to aid in the escort of the criminals while I shall lead the remaining twenty five in joining with you to hunt down the Mag Der’al terrorists.”

If the VofV units agree to allow Durandal to help he shall join with them to hunt down the Mag Der’al in the area, wielding Ascendus he shall use the blade to absorb the infected blood so it doesn’t infect anyone. Ascendus hungers.

The other twenty five Raiders shall join with the forces escorting the captured Gul’tor’uf prisoners and escort them to the boarder between Karov and the Der’al collective. They will then turn back and move to join with the first group.

Durandal’s Raiders have an FS of 8 and Faith 2 I believe. They shall pray before battle for protection to raise a Life Shield for protection. Any injuries that go beyond the Life Shield’s power shall be treated with Heal Wound (Healing 1)

Urog didn’t like the way things were playing out in Karov. Vektor brought poor tidings from the discussion for peace. Unit 7766 had agreed to withdraw, which was enough. The Karovans were allowed to be at peace, after the VofV made their sweep. He didn’t understand the need for further fighting. He got on the Comm Crystal given to him by Field Marshall Strykker and spoke the following after being directed to either Shiro, Mapel, or Strykker. “Greetings. There are Mag Der’al in Karov, being killed by the Earthers from the East. They are killing any who walk in their path that are not native to Karov. At the same time, the grayfurs of Unit 7766 are retreating from Karov after initially invading the territory from my peers (which is a not a problem I wish to bore you with). However, my concern is that the Earthers from the East lack your technology to better handle the situation. Don’t get me wrong, the tribal lands in question, those of GulTor’Uf, weren’t very helpful to you… but this response by the Earthers from the East are very not helpful. Perhaps you can talk to them, give them a better strategy than to kill everything in sight. I’ll provide whatever help you need in speaking to them. We can fly you over from Simonsburg to Brez via censor-craft and hold the meeting by the train station. Or whatever you prefer.”

Urog also made his way down, along with his raiders, to the train station being manned by the VofV. He knew the train traffic was disrupted, but he had hoped to speak to a “Brother” in charge. When speaking, he gave the following message, “Greetings, I am the Great Goblin King Urog of the Gang of the Uf Mag’og and the Great Northern Army. I come with a message. The Eathers of the North have a means by which to more easily find and handle Mag Der’al. I can arrange a meeting here or you can speak with either Field Marshall Strykker, General Map’el, or Captain Shiro. They will be more than happy to discuss better means to handle this problem. If there is anything I can do to facilitate, let me know. We just wish to halt random killings. As we all know and understand, by now, how distasteful that is and how much more harm than good it does.”

Urog would then do what he must to connect the EEF with the VofV so that to bring a halt to the attacks in Karov and/or systemitize it in a way that 1) does not interfere with the withdrawal of Unit 7766 and Yagogi’s plans for that 2) allows easier pinpinting of the infected 3) when/where possible, prevents unnecessary death of non-infected olgog

Urog does not condone the VofV attacks, and does not help the VofV in any way other than link them up with the EEF

Troops for Yagogi’s disposal (deployed as the see fit, it nothing mentioned by yagogi, they stay at home or beyond Karovan lands):
Offers a unit of 12 ur rhug with summon chimera artifacts, stone clubs, nightmare hides. LR 3, and level 3 of the following: 3 have earth, 3 have fire, 3 have air, 3 have light. If needed to attack, will attack with either fireball, levitate weapons, halo/laser, or tunnel material/grow vines to limit movement.

In reserve: 4 censor craft: 50 vandals and 50 ur rhug. (mix of 25 in each). They’re just beyond the limit of Karov, ready to attack if a beacon for help is requested. (all troops standard, all with stone clubs)

All troops are ready to be ressurected if needed (some with fingers, some with teeth).

Maggul had played his part perfectly, showing passion for the cause but not the explosive fury that wait within. He was reserved saying very little and not giving anything away about the measured response for the attack on their lands. Now was about getting word out to those who needed to know- UtR allies and innocents that needed to be protected. For this the Yagogi totem students, without Zhgog’ol Maklur who was busy artificing (will need to make an amendment in the actual item, will post inappropriate section) and Onigor, communing with growling for the SHADOW WALK ability to get word out ASAP. Telling Tor’Lallur, Gangs of Uf’Magog, Lalder, Kul Gul Rapi,Or/Ol’Lur, VofV, even Kolgol, Grimauldus’ men and the Morgothians. The word is ‘when you see the sign of the sky falling, diaappear and get to cover.’

With that Yagogi’al the Og’ab stood just within a cavern survey the movements outside. He had two tribals using the golem armour to raise tothe grounds surface while hidden blending in with the terrain. At the sane time, Yagogi’al used a CANTRIP familiar of a majestic ontor. It started by herding wildlife away from the area to safer locations, and then scouted for the beast in the sky. When he was able to lock onto it’s location, he would use Mag Buskt swords special attack to destroy the ‘Warbird’ and initial the battle. With the skies falling, the mak’abs would use STONE PILLAT to raisr the Molotov cocktail barge up from the tunnels below into the lands of Karov. Yagogi’al spoke to his cub, ’ Tun’dra, my cub this is your first act of walk softly and carry a big stick . Now please welcome them to the neighborhood.’ The dead were likely to leave having collected the dead and turned them to their own twisted side, now Tun’dra used FIRE DART on the barge, cleaning the mess once and for all. KABOOM! Afterwards, all Mak’ abs summon a herd of earth and air spirits to purify the air and help till the lands after a bout of scorched earth. Onigor, having communed with mighty yadol with use Zhgog’ol’s RESURRECT staff and Or’tor’s dire yahol. making sure the dead are good and dead. The army can come out helping with clean up
