TSGL3 Week 9 Mission: The Mirror Crystal Invasion Part 2: the Usurper Gambit

#1

The Usurper was boiling with rage. Years of work, trillions of lives lost, and two whole new Greater Evils raised from the sacrifices of the willing minds. It had begun during the Border Wars of Refuge in 2218 AR.

That year the Usurper had learned that General Tharr, leader of the Krato Generals who served Warmonger, was seeking a way to split Warmonger from the Host Body of Mar’un’ga.
The Usurper knew the only way the Falosini had trapped Warmonger on the prison dimension of Les’tas’tral was to bind his host their. Once host and Warmonger were split again, the fifth Ancient Evil would be free to conquer the other Ancient Evils and rule all of this reality.

It was cute in a way, because the Usurper knew that Tharr was lying when he spoke proudly of his plan to free Warmonger. While overtly helping the Warmonger Cult rise during the Border Wars, Tharr also helped train and prepare their enemies.

In Lurlock’s apprentice, Layne Yr, the General Tharr had found a perfect admiral to lead the Kasanthians against the Warmonger Cult once Host and Evil were split. She succeeded and finally drove the Warmonger Cult from Kasanth in 2219.

In the bastard explosives expert, T.J., the General Tharr had found the perfect adept to craft into a time shredder, and annihilator. The perfect living weapon to unleash on Abraxas, the one K’ias host body which could be an even more dangerous host for Warmonger than Mar’un’ga had ever been. T.J. defeated Abraxas time and time again, most importantly keeping him trapped in Earth’s past, during those moments when Warmonger was searching for a host body.

The Usurper watched Tharr move with style, allowing him the opportunity to wound Warmonger. And was delighted when the plan worked. It was with this inspiration in mind that he moved forward with his own plans. A stolen time shredder made the rest of the plan possible.

Using his slaves among the Djinni, the Usurper convinced the kumfei scientists Kal’Shek to rebel against the I’tashis and start building the Unity Network. Then turning a few of the Unity connected to Warmonger’s worship started the corruption of the system. Despite eventually containing billions of minds who were goodly beings seeking to better the universe, the darker minds in the Unity gave birth first to the Dragon of Unity.

The Usurper coaxed this distillation of all the Unity’s Evil into a battle against the Warmonger. Waiting until the Warmonger sought to escape by stealing Vul’s body and the Flagship of Warmonger’s K’ias Wars Starfleet, the Usurper led both the Iron Republic, the EEF, and the newly birthed Dragon of Unity into battle against the Warmonger.

The battle cost Warmonger his new host body, and drove the flagship back into the prison dimension. Later that year the Warmonger tried to escape again, but this time Lord Roan, Grim the bastard and friends were ready and detonated the flagship and annihilated his new host Marcus Dannor. The Warmonger was desperate, and the Usurper knew it.

The Dragon of Unity, a newly birthed Greater Evil (equal in power to the ancient evils, but simply not ancient), powered by technomancy, was growing unrestrained. The Usurper could not seem to control it.

So again he traveled back in time, using his demonic turncoat agents among a terrorist group known as the Angels of Desolation to help them kidnap Da’uhnb and make a temporal weapon capable of traversing two timelines and linking them. Then he let anger and personalities play out, with the inevitable launching of the Wormhole weapon against planet Alioth. Then he sat back and watched the Unity send its demonic agents to fix the temporal wormhole. Instead they were pulled through, trapped in an alternate timeline and surrounded by enemies.

And who was there waiting… The Usurper with a friendly hand and help against their enemies. He allowed them to grow organically, but influenced them into becoming the reality-conquering Fleets of Fate.

And when the Dragon of Unity in our timeline faced Warmonger, it was wounded. The wounded Dragon of Unity split its spirit, half within the Unity, and half within the new Fleets of Fate. As timeline after timeline fell to the Fleets of Fate, more and more of the Dragon presented itself as that form.

But in our timeline, the Unity was supreme, and the Fleets of Fate could only sneak a tiny bit of their influence onto this timeline by tricking the Captain Axis into holding the Rurik Scepter and pushing through their bonded flesh a new host in our timeline.

Thousands of tinier Dragons of Fate snuck away, and hid.

Meanwhile, the Usurper hadn’t rested on his laurels.

He manipulated the Twin Quall HiveQueens Ardana and Andara, one he corrupted to Warmonger’s Service, and the other he influenced into starting a Quall Civil War. While the Quall fought amongst themselves, the Usurper’s agents turned the recently released Neliff to his side.

With the Neliff the Prophet as a personal friend and supporter, the Usurper was almost ready. But he needed a way to surround the Warmonger with Neliff without anyone knowing.

And it was on Refuge where such an opportunity presented itself.

Enjoying the temporal manipulations too much, the Usurper, decided he would need a backup plan. And he found the backup ancient evil in the form of the Prophet Kolgol, who had grown mad on the fumes he was inhaling from a shaft in a completely natural volcano in the Gobin Lands.
The Prophet had gathered an entire tribe to his worship and began spreading the Kalok faith by fire and violence. Thousands of Olgogs were sacrificed across the Goblin lands, and Kalok was finally birthed as a Greater Evil.

As he did so, his allies among the Djinni tied the hands of leaders of the United Tribes in strange supernatural deals. Eventually allowing the entire region to be filled with hidden Neliff, while the United Tribes were busy killing themselves from an alternate timeline.

But the Prophet Kolgol shuddered at the monster he had birthed, and fled into enemy hands. So he used his backup on the Mirror Crystal Timeline to repower Kalok on this timeline. But the cost had been immense…

It was at that point that the Usurper realized he simply wasn’t as good at manipulation as General Tharr had been.

His factory pumping out Unit 111 soldiers who thought they worshipped Warmonger but were really under his control was take from under him during an unexpected attack by Unit 817 and the Followers of Krodnok.

His forts across Refuge were taken by the United Tribes soldiers.

Warmonger even stepped in by personally corrupting Inquisitor Siedermann and sending him to to turn the Colony of Dunesphere into a fevor of purges that cost the Usurper many of his loyal agents.

The Usurper knew he had to act. With Tor Gog and Mortis Leonin no longer a threat, the Da’uhnb would return to hunting for HIM as the most wanted being in this reality. So his final gambit began.

The Armenius Orb was brought through from the Mirror Crystal Time line and sacrificed to bind Warmonger to a host body in our own. But the Usurper’s mirror crystal cronies had failed, and the sacrifices that Kalok needed to reveal his full power were instead released by Krodnok and friends.

Warmonger was bound and held in Unen, but for how long, the Usurper wondered.

He sent in the full might of his converted Unit 111 army to slay the Warmonger.

In space above Refuge, the thousands of Dragons of Fate gathered dragging salvaged vessels, space station parts, and even nearby spy satellites. Using themselves and parts stolen from across known space, they constructed a massive energy weapon focused on the surface of Refuge.

In all directions, the remaining Dragons of Fate formed themselves into Unity Horror Nexuses. Stealing power from the still free and independent Unity, these stations drove that energy directly into the weapon preparing to fire onto the planets surface.

The EEF was ready for this, and the first few shots were contained within artificed Detour Shields.
But it was only a matter of time before the Detour shields ran out, and Unen would be obliterated.

Still with an Army of Unit 111 undead armed with magi cannons surrounding the city on all land approaches there was little hope for the defenders of Unen. Then to their shock, three Ziggurat-wooden carrier craft drifted into the harbor of Unen. Thousands of blue giant Cambions leapt from the wooden vessels and began reinforcing the defenses.

A pharonic Illuminated presented himself on the highest point of the Ziggurat and announced, “Praise be to Warmonger, the great day has come for his return. Let all bow down and serve his nature. I am Uiulli Kal Unen, and this beautiful Port City is now my domain. Praise all be to Uiulli (pronounced Eoolee), your new master. And Praise be to Warmonger, greatest of the Ancient Evils.”

Meanwhile an army of forty Balgogs have sacrifices to Kalok strapped to their chests. If the Sacrifices are killed by the Balgogs OR by those attacking the Balgogs while within range of Unen and Kalok will fire his Volcano weapon again at Warmonger.

The Usurper watched from his hidden vessel.

(OOC Option A)

Lalder says to his tribes combatants, warriors and healers “Today we have to prevent Kalok from succceeding in his plans. Unfortunitly, this means protecting the new Host of Warmonger from Dying. If this host dies, Kalok will absorb his power and then destroy Unen in one big Volcano. This leaves us little good choices.

The enemies we face are great. We face multiple beings with forces greater in number than ours. But our strength is that of one protecting. Remember, every Unit 111 dead we take down, every balgog destroyed, every hostage saved, is a step towards saving 10’s and 100’s of thousands. You do not fight just for Olgogs, we fight to protect our home, our refuge.”

Through that speech Lalder will be using Troubadour to bolster those listening, helping them focus on their tasks.

Plan:
Hostages and Balgogs are left to others as they said they would take care of them. Unit 111 was lalder’s main target.

Lalder will send the 10 apprentice Aufs to help the Unenese rebels. They will pass out weapon studs that add Ray of the Sun to the weapons. Additionally the will heal work, aka bless Ammo to allow the Unenese to deal with the Warmongers dead of Unit 111. Additionally they will heal and support these rebels. They will have 25 nanite Syringes to give to immuntables that they cannot heal. Lastly, they will use team Magi cannon reflect to protect the fighters. Using Healing and light leyas to destroy the undead if needed, but mainly act in support role.

10 Auf Apprentice ((Apprentice Auf (FS 4)) LR:5, Heal:4, Light: 3, Air:3, Earth:4, Fire:3, Water:4, General:2) Adj: (Melee Strike +2, Rapid Throw +2) Equiped in Armor of Auf Lal’al.

Group 2: The fleet.
The 2 of the Regular Carriers, 2 destroyers, and their squads of Fighters will harass and target Unit 111. Most will use Mirror or Magi Cannon reflect and make Striking runs using the Lasers and fireball Launchers of the fighters. The Acid cones of the Destroyers will lead the way.

Lalder will use reverse metal on the Warmongers forces just before the first wave of Strikes in hopes of opening a hole in Unit 111 defenses.

If there is an anti aircraft position. The Shapeshifting Mercs and former KFM will be sent down in Armor of Lal’als, Ray of Light Weapon studs, and will take out the position and then retreat and await the next target:
Bug the Standard Bearer (FS:5|LR:4, Light: 3, Shadow:3, Air:3, Earth:3, Fire:3, Water:3, General:1) Adj: (Health +1 / HP+3)
KFM: 9 of them. (FS:5|LR:4, Light: 3, Shadow:3, Air:3, Earth:3, Water:3, General:1) Adj: (Health +1 / HP+4)
Olgog Merc 1-5((Merc) FS: 6|LR:4, Earth:3, Fire:3, Water:3, General:1, Shape:3)Skills: 2 att, Bravo

Help Delur:
Tor’ab and his apprentices will be sent to specifically help Delur. Help with Shadow walking, Killing things, and communication with the fleet if a strike is needed.
gogs:
Tor’ab ((Tor’og) LR:5, Heal:3, Light: 3, Shadow:4, Air:3, Earth:4, Fire:3, Water:3, General:2, Shape:3, Summ:1) Adj: (Charisma +1 and Etiquette (Lost Colonies) 4, Pilot(Airship) 4,Temper 4, +1 attack when involved in Vehicle combat, Melee Strike +2, Rapid Throw +2)

Tor’ab’s 10 Apprentices ((Ur Rhug) LR:4, Light: 3, Shadow:3, Air:2, Earth:3, Water:3, General:1) Adj: (leyas combat melee 3, leyas combat ranged 4, Melee Strike +1)

Orbital Strike:
If worse comes to worse, A carrier (newest of the 3) can move over the Warmonger’s location, and use Mirror and Magi Cannon Reflect. Hoping this will reflect and destroy the attacker. Lalder will ask over the commcrystal which type of weapon is it firing.

Equipment:

Armor of Auf Lal’al: Helm with sensor enhancements like Animal Sight/Hearing/Smell, and bird sight. Armorfiend vest with Ignore poison, Cat like Reflexes, Cobra Strike, and Increase Strength and Grow armor to strengthen the vest (at 2 successes) Ring of Healing plus life shield: Cure Disease, Heal Wounds/Heal Internal Damage, and Life shield. (3 successes each) Boots with Fireleap (Could be replace with Insect Leap, but I didn’t think that would be compatable with Increase strength)

Weapons will have Studs of Ray of Light to make any weapon Light based. And Phoenix Strike Pistols.

NOTE: All members will have a tooth, finger tip saved for later resurrection.

[OPTION A]
Sir Mag’Nrs had so much to do, and it needed to be done right by his honorable ways. He knew that the Morgothian had once had an alliance with Warmonger/Headhunters but since the GodsWar it had just turned into a mutual respect,; as in we don’t mess with you and your don’t mess with us. Mag’Nrs did not want to be any cause to single handedly disrupt this, so he would focus his efforts on the enemy of Kalok. He would ride out on his brezen stalker to alert the Sea Kings of the Morgothian presence, show his position (basically do the tough guy head nod, sup?) At the same time, he would just have to ignore the taunts of Scout the Yellow, hopefully by achieving his task could make a new ally out of him (but seeming unlikely, maybe some respect).

To all of his Morgothian followers, Sir Mag’Nrs says, “Unen has granted us the gift of faith and togetherness, and now more so than ever, the port calls on us to help defend her. There is so much strife between the combined factions, and there are those out there that don’t believe in us to do what I have said we would. We will focus our blades on Kalok and his allies, the ones that initiated the trouble. By this we will overlook the Warmonger, it will be handled in other ways. The fair citizens have been abused and taken as hostages, and this is no way for them to live. We owe them everything for the way of life they have blessed us with. Losing our home, losing their support makes us extremely dangerous because it takes away what we lived for. So we must give it everything we have to to not lose everything great that we have and we will achieve! For the faith and our Brotherhood!”

At nightfall, for their part of the battle all Morgothian forces ride out on Morgog, Dame Keyhob creating one for 5 Morgothian Paladins, 20 Ur Kugs, and 15 Unenese Rebels. The chanrge is lead by Sir Mag’Nrs, followed by Sir Beast and Sir Redd (an olgog brown fur with stripes of red, showing that their were redfurs in his family) The plan is for riders to forgo attacking, leaving the Morgog to attack mainly with claws towards the extremities of the Balgog to not harm the hostages. Once in close combat, the Ur Kugs with use FREEZE METAL to make the chains trapping the hostages brittle enough to be broken. Next would be the Unenese rebels to stealth in and free the hostages. Once hostages are free, Sir Beast and Sir Redd (along with the two other unnamed paladins) will SHADOWWALK them to safety and now the Morgog can open up and attack with CHILL BREATH . Dame KeyHob is waiting back on Morgog duty, whenever it looks like one has fallen in battle, she will create another to take its place in the attack. Once through with the Balgogs, the riders will dismount and command the Morgog’s turn their CHILL BREATH towards Kalok (and Dragon of Fate).

#5

“Well Boss I really don’t like the look of this at all,” Dreg said his gaze shifting from the force of Warmongers Dead marching toward them in near silence and then up to the sky which glowed constantly and blazed with strange flashes and bursts of energy sporadically. “Yeah,” Urik muttered. “It’s a real mess this time.” He glanced over at Flora who sat slightly apart from the other Outcasts and kept staring at him and Dreg. It was down right odd. What had she seen out there? Well that would have to wait
He heard Rum-blood softly chanting over a large pile of their ammo, rockets and some bombs they’d scraped together. “Alright time to get moving spread out work with the Rebels and the other UTR troops. We do everything we can to keep Unit 111 from reaching the cathedral. Dreg, Graf. Not you two. I’m lending you to Derlur. He has a plan and says he needs immutables I know is this one is big. But there is nobody else to deal with this. So you do what you have to do except anything stupid! Nowhere get there and put some corpses back in the ground.”

Option A
Rumblood will work the Outcasts ammo with healing so it will be more effective against warmongers dead. The Outcasts will split up and work with the Unen rebels. They will also use their trikes and trucks to stay mobile. They will set up ambushes and booby traps as chance allows. They will work with all defending forces but will keep a very close eye on any Sea King troops they see. Balgogs will not engaged unless their hostages have already been freed. Dreg and Graf will be dispatched to Derlur to help with his plan of capturing the Armineus orb. Rum-blood and the other leyas users will employ leyas to distract and misdirect hostile forces.

#6

And it had started out as such a nice day reflected Admiral Stephanie Parker. Now there was a giant Techno-organic dragon building a body out of space debris and trying to glass a city on Refuge knocking on her door.

“Status report,” She barked at her bridge crew her voice cutting through the chatter and noise of running feet.
“Sir the detour shields are holding all ships are launching and reporting ready status.” Replied Lt. Mach
“Good, have all the kalino class ships fall back and engage with EMP and anti-nanite warheads. I want staggered volleys. All other ships are to engage between volleys. And see if we can get an SAV to repeats out some of the full detours and turn them back on that thing. Have the gun pods and drones get in close and try to disable its targeting. And Signals, get me command I want to know what the hell is going on down there.

(Option A kinda)

The EEF Home Fleet will engage the Dragon of Fate all defense drones and guns will also engage. They will try to use EMP and Anti-nanites to disable its functions and defenses while the other large ships engage from range. Any damage will be exploited by close in attacks of fighters and drones. SAVs will gather and replace used detour shields and open the full ones at the dragon to direct its own power back at them. The fleet will also use uplinks hammers hoping to disrupt the signals between the mini dragons. If the dragon runs away the fleet will not chase it but a stealth gunship will try to follow it.

#7

(ooc - technically option a, but really it’s all about thwarting the Usurper. Screw that guy. He’s doesn’t deserve Tharr’s mantle).

Main objective:
Infiltrate the city (just like the last time), 3 squads

2 squads - 1 led by Derlur himself, the other by Yeung Ling (female, karovian in build). They’re going to use leyas sight and to track the Armenius orb. Derlur has two places he’s going to assume the orb/usurper will be.

  1. Not too far from the where Warmonger is trapped, in a safe house, hiding in plain sight and waiting for the opportunity to destroy whoever wins the “battle” between Warmonger and Kalok. - search for natural energy bridges, Leyas spikes, or more importantly, leyas “voids” (obvious obscures) - this team is led by YEung Ling
  2. Follow Kalok - if the Usurper’s goal is to trap Kalok in the orb once heis done, then the orb has to be close to there. Same situation. Hiding in plain sight, just a different location.

Both teams will SNEAK! No confrontation. Use shadow walk to approach, and then again to “escape”

When confronted by Ueillie’s Sea Kings, show them a symbol of Warmonger, saying they’re defenders of Unen. Now that Warmonger is in control of Unen, they’re now free to show their “true” colors, and are looking for weakpoints in defense. (Both Derlur and Yeung Ling will use Fast Talk to work their way through. Solid Religion as well).

Given the current set-ups, Urik’s immutables will be there to hold the orb if needed. Either Derlur or Yeung Ling will walk them through the concentration/will portion of it (as per Derlur’s perception of how Flora did it + his understanding of the orb itself). Derlur will be the shadow walker of his group, and the Ur Rhug from Gangs (if provided), will be the primary shadow walker from the other. Take 2 apprentices from Lalder and put them on each squad. Assuming Yagogi gives his 2 gorab, do the same.

Confronting the Usurper/extracting the armenius orb:
Preference: Sneak and pilfer. Slumber on the leyas users, levitate slowly, etc. Use distractions, such as wind rush, or one of his teammates leyas abilities for that purpose. Use levitate to give the orb to the immutable.
If in direct combat:
Step 1: Blind him using light leyas (localized on him)
Step 2: Have the Gor’ab attack him, because Zela.
Step 3: Shoot Zela spikes at other Leyas users
Step 4: Immutables (such as Flora and Reshed), don’t get stuck in crossfire. Hellguns suck, as Derlur learned from Ya’na last time.

Escaping, tunnels, shadow walk, etc.

Final Squad:
Less about infiltration, more about handling balgogs. Holt Gale will lead the Unenese rebels in their employ (15) + excess Lalder’s men. They’ll sneak up on them in small groups, and free the slaves. The instructions will be to release the bindings first (levititate, a good shot against the bindings?). Then one by one, levitate or shadowwalk around, grab the body, shadow walk back. Small squads, taking out a few at a time. If there’s a concentration of them (too many to safely extract), then use distraction tactics to draw off some. Subtle: Wind, thrown/levitated debris, etc. Not so subtle “HEy, look at me!” (to someone who can then jump into a shadow and escape).

Also: anyone who wants/needs a believable symbol of Warmonger will get one from Derlur (only those in the planning thread)

Bottom line: save hostages, and then assist in the trapping warmonger. Let’s pretend Derlur knows how to do that. Let’s hope he does. Maybe he gets lucky and runs into Scout. However, no non-immutables are to touch the orb. He’ll be clear on that.

Also, he lends Lalder Ollurug in the event that they need help focusing Leyas for Mass REssurection.

stats

Unenese Rebel Veteran (15)
FS 6
Water lvl 3,Air lvl 3
General lvl 1

You have my personal stats. Special abilities:
Derlur can shadowwalk as a special ability. He also has an artifact that lets him use technology, if need be. Derlur also has use of Summon Phantasmal Familiar, which he’ll use liberally.
Holt has chimera halberd.
Ollurug has reshedrapi and can do enhanced meditation.

#8

Shirley knew she could trust Derlur. Not in the way that he would keep a secret…or share one. But he protected Tusk. And he always lived up to his promises. His tribe was GNA, so she didn’t really have a choice either.

But he knew more than he let on.

OOC - Go after Kalok’s Balgog’s/followers, technically meaning they’re protecting Warmonger.

Infiltration unit to go with Derlur:
Hikiti goes with one (ur Rhug)
Ya’na goes with the other (elder).

Gives anyone who accepted the offer (if possible, forces it on lalder’s troops hoping to use heal against Unit 111), urya, which grants bonuses to Leyas use.

Send an ur rhug (standar) with Unit 817, who can comm crystal over and confirm Unit 817’s location so the censor craft don’t attack/destroy enemies.

Urban Warfare (tactics) - for all squads:
Unen isn’t as dense as Brez, but we know street to street fighting. Hide in shadows, use shadows to travel, rooftops walking on brick/stone houses only (and only out of sight of artillery), assume all buildings house the enemy and/or be hostile until confirmed they’re not. Use earth leyas (grow spears, wall pikes, stone pillars) to block entry ways of houses if/when needed. When full scale attacking happens, use stone pillars/wall of pikes to block alleyways and force the enemy to come at us. During the full scale invasion - create small stone pillars in the streets to serve as cover (gears of war style). Igloos also work. Hopefully a house by house evac won’t be needed, but set-up contingencies (especially for non-infiltration parts of mission) for civilians to move towards “reclaimed” parts of town while we’re fighting in hostile parts. Use those “empty” houses for advanced tactics, such as obscuring actual numbers by shadow-jumping between buildings, and rooftop flanking. Use stalkers tactics in two ways: 1) suppressive fire keeps them looking up at the enemies, stalkers come from behind and attack. They focus on non-balgogs, or if they attack, focus on leg limbs to limit mobility 2) hit and runs - surprise attack, take out a few members to thin a herd, and then follow-up with a “frontal” (city fighting rarely has full frontal assaults. And for the ultimate crowd control - summon hydras.

Strategy for taking out Unit 111:
15 Censor craft using healing beams on the undead. Support troops use leyas abilities and artifacts (summoned or others) to distract and otherwise keep occupied. Healing will take out the undead. The warmachines are another story, but that’s largely Lalder’s problem to tackle.

20 hydras (on artifacts) to distract, 20 chimeras to attack the legs and immobilize. 10 earth elementals to create vines, traps, and otherwise slow everyone down (change earth works too)

Taking out balgogs
Stalker Units (see below) that will focus on precision cutting the bindings on the hostage. Ur rhug will then use shadow walk to get hostages out. Attack in small groups only. Use distraction methods. However, if the army is in a military style formation, strategy changes.

If in military formation: Tusk will summon a Clay Colem (drinking katla), who will literally walk towards the army. The distraction. From the rear summoned growlings “attack”, but the real purpose is just to go for the bindings. They’re summoned from different directions, each time to only focus on bindings. Ur rhug then sneak in and out to take the captured hostages, using shadow walk to get away from the course of battle. Use of change earth against the balgogs (from artifacts or from Leyas use)

Defending Brez
Urog sends comm crystal message to EEF, saying that he believes there’s a hidden part of the mirror fleet around either Absolam, Hebron, or making a move against Brez. They will keep better watch, using Leyas sight, and censor craft will be mobile. Same is true for across the GNA. Since the fleet offloaded most of their weapons (per events of prior week), the primary concern is a ground invasion. Keep steady watch and use the fighters as mobile defense. PM me for additional ground troops as it’s too much to go into.

(option a - defend warmonger, stop kalok. but only to defend innocents and prevent release of either.)

Torlok’ab agreed with most of the plans, but as he did not have any better ideas, he would aid in any way he could. With the allies using Healing leyas against Unit 111, He would lead forces against the Balgogs and work free the hostages. Squads of troopers would work to prevent the balgogs from reaching Unen . they would work to slow the balgogs advance till the allies could release the sacrifices. when the sacrifices are out of the way the squads wil concentrate fire on the balgogs to destroy them. Torlok’ab would aid where he could. Troopers would aid in getting freed sacrifices out of the conflict zone using shadow walk to take them to waiting NecroStridrers. the strders will transport all passengers out of the zone and to a location where they can be given any aid needed.

if he is warned that the space threat has a chance to finally break thru the defense, he will use a large scale ECM Field leyas ability to hinder the orbital targeting and prevent any sort of lock on.

Once the attacking forces are repelled, if the SeaKing forces attack the allies, Torlok’ab wil attempt to close range to their vessels and Blight them so that they are uninhabitable and unusable. After making it so that the SEakings cant use the vessels, he will generate a flight and a control crystal and ‘retrieve’ a ziggurat.

Unwittingly option A
Forge wandered up the coast following rumors of Scout. He had also heard that their old comrade Rogarth was in a place called Unen so lacking anywhere better to go he went there. The city came into view as he rounded a large sand dune. He snorted to see the state of the place. Buildings sagging and collapsed half the harbor front was on fire. It looked to him like Olgogs and Earthers were equally bad at maintaining a city. It wasn’t until he got closer that he realized that the city was surrounded by an army. After that he walked more carefully until he was close enough to realize that the attacking force was all Warmongers Dead. He grinned then as he dropped his travel pack and drew a large hammer form his back. He swung it back and forth to loosen up as he took his dragon axe into his other hand. It had been too long since he’d had a good fight.

Forge will attack all elements of Unit 111 he encounters. He will use the Havoc Hammer and all of its abilities in an attempt to reach the city once there he will help anyone he sees defending the city except Morgothians or “friendly” Warmongers dead who he will refrain from attacking but will not fight with or help. If things seem very dire he will use his Ord Knight. If he runs into Scout or Rogarth in the city he will stick with them.

Uriel blinked his eyes rapidly after he formed an avatar body deep in the ancient chapel. He felt the power radiating from the contest between Warmonger and Kalok. He had the chilling feeling that it was pulling on him trying to draw away his energy. Fascinating. Sadly he had no time to indulge in study. Instead he turned to the rooms other occupants. He nodded politely to them.

“Greetings,I am Uriel. I have come with a message for you Usurper. A request really. Just go. Your plan has failed and appears to be somewhat beyond repair. Regardless of which of them wins.” He gestured at the ripples of energy where Kalok and Warmonger fought. “It is likely that they will strike at you first and even in such a weakened state either would be a threat. Call this a limited victory and go the Ascended Beings and I will not interfere.
“Honestly I would be curious what you had expected to happen if you had been successful? Certainly you nearly did succeed. But what would have been your next step with a likely enraged and even more powerful Kalok standing where Warmonger had been? Did you think he would thank you? After he was done killing every living thing along this cost line of course. And that is to say nothing of what will happen to you if Warmonger overcomes Kalok. I can only imagine how upset he will be. He likely has an entire hell dimension waiting just for you. Or you could leave. It is after all unlikely your troops will arrive in time as this entire city has risen up against them and of course the Sea Kings have come to aid their god. The Dragon Of Fate is locked in battle with the EEF and even if it is victorious it will not be in time to help you. Or you could just wait and see who wins."

Option A
Uriel will attempt to talk the Usurper into leaving. While doing that he will manifest another avatar body which will try to find Rogorth and hopefully a willing sacrifice to host Warmonger for the Hivequeens to take. If that body can find them he will bring them to the Cathedral to confront the Usurper if needed. He will also hope that the other Ascended actually come through with a host if he can’t find one. He will stay in avatar and will only exercise more power if the Usurper does.

[OPTION A, but really wanting OPTION B and should that battle already be won, switching the final attack to B]

Maggul ordered for the specific reinforcements, and they would be coming in force. First were the gor’abs each using LIFE SHIELD led in by Yagogi’al the Og’ab himself, and he know where and what must be done with his tribe. Following along were all of his juvenile gor’abs, (though Kalok Mag’ab, Tori’ Og would be assisting Delur, and Og Or’gog would be helping in another area.) and they moved with intent. They did not need the the help of a silent attack, instead they moved with a wave of sounds. Yagogi’al got is started with a group on young males with deep voices making a DOOM backbeat, while some of the other males followed up with DIP DIP DIP AHH, and finally all the females joined in HMMM HM HM HMMM HMMMM (thinking about the lines of JukeBox Hero today) as they began chanting this WAR SONG. As Maggul had proposed, if they could break the faiths of the Kalokians, Kalok would lose power and they might be able to take him: this was the gor’abs main objective. The gor’abs knowing their zela blades had little effect on the Balgogs, they would have to maneuver skillfully and rely on the assistance of the other members of the tribe to do their duties. They would move in groups of two to use a series of healing leyas: NERVE DISRUPTION(ongoing), then HEAL WOUND, CURE INSANITY and HOLY and break the bonds that strengthened Kalok. Maggul would be accompanying this group, having communed with Ontor for the bonuses to PERCEPTION to find out if this is having any effects. If there is no effects, gor’abs using SLUMBER to get them out of the battle.

Next is a very specific select group as the brute squad, they are here to try taking out the balgogs and providing cover for the gor’abs. Here is Og Or’gog, joined by Yalar Took, Hobya’Ab, Makgog’Lallur, Or’gog Mak, Ur’na Lok, Og’ Kol, Ya’ru, Og rapi’ab, Kalok Dol, Zhol’ya, as well as Bazman, Cougar, Gibbs, Flint, Da King, Capo, Big Chief, Dais, Sheela, and Thumpa each armed with the OLGOGOLEM pendant armor using a variety of earth leyas:MUD WAVE, ACID STRIKE, CHANGE FORM, and Yalar Took using SHAPE STONE to make them immobile and take apart the balgogs all while breaking apart the Kalokians faith.

The last wave is just providing more cover, they are led by mag’ol Zhya Gog’mis using TRIBAL FURY, with Onigor the Fierce, Or’tor, Yayi the Trumpeter, Zh Hob’rhug, Der’ LooDol, Ol’Yyangog, Zh’gul Took, Rapi Hob’og, Gor’ Lallur, and the cub Tun’Dra armed with Badges of the Day to combat Unit 111. Or’tor being the Ally to spirit of Might Yadol, will use the ritual paint and summon yadol so that this group can get around hidden underneath the surface, creating WILL O’WISPS to take out the greyfurs.

With the battle at an epic high, Yagogi’al had felt deeply responsible to Kalok coming to power unopposed and through such devious means. Kolgol has once been an ally and Kalok’s actions spoke for duties of the UtR not being properly fulfilled. Yagogi’al the Og’ab would take the sword of fellow leader Mag Buskt and unleashing the MAG BUSKT’S DARKNESS upon the Ancient Evil, and this would be hisl way to remedy past errors. If kalok was already rendered destroyed or powerless, this attack would be a sneak attack going towards the Warmonger to end his threat.

[OPTION B]

Scout had so much to do and so little time, he needed to get things underway so he wasn’t getting to have all the fun. This would literally be the perfect time for time shredding- so go from point A to point B and get messages to everyone that should be made aware, like the good Godsword barers Alec Silverclover, the High Matron Mother Arania and the Dread Pirate Artur D’Vega; as well as Half-Ear with Razorback. Definitely not a fuckhead like Zinzar the Red, or that k’ias the took the black sword, or Lady Starsmith with the White…so stupid. Scout was a little at a loss, no way for direct communication so as he was playing with random things in his hands, he got a brilliant idea. He pulled back out his painters brush and painted a image of each of them, quite cozy in their respected homes reading a letter from Scout. The letter had all sorts of cool images, like Scout in a bad Hawaiian (what’s that) style shirt on vacation, and a giant volcano face ready to burst, and angry warmonger moping about because he sucks at life and hates everyone else for being better. Well with good wishes and warm regards, Scout hoped for the best in others coming.
In the mean time, he would track out both Forge and Rogarth to let them know about all the fun they were missing and TAG YOU’RE IT, Time to pick up your big boy pants and do your thing in Unen. The olgogies need all the help thye can get and maybe they will stop being such bad people that bring about horrible things like the Ancient Evils. Yes, you head me right.

For the actual mission, Scout would sneak about towards the cathedral, using a combination of stealth, checking for traps, hide in shadow, become shadow and obscure. For Unit 111, he would just use his natural abilities through the Yellow Godsword and hel them to the best of his skill  He would use the face of Vul to hold onto the Armenius Orb, looking to get it to one of the only people he would trust to have it. Forge would know what to do when the time came and hopefully Scout would not be alone in this attack- as in maybe Rogarth, or Razorback, or Half-Ear. See Scout has been seeking revenge for quite a while now, ever since learning that in other dimensions he was an avatar of Warmonger, getting all his memories back and learning of the horrors that could have happened if he had ascended being tied to yet again Warmonger. It wasn’t the sort of revenge that ever dampened Scout’s mood, or made your question him,at least not for that reason; this was the type of thing that he kept to himself alone in the middle of cold nights. He was going to enjoy this again, handing off, the face of Vul with the Armenius Orb, and his Yellow Godsword over to Forge to he could go Full Were TSOGA and “distract” Warmonger like he did those many years ago. THIS IS PAYBACK BITCH!

[OPTION A]
Sir Stout was fairly new to the Goblin Lands; after being “removed” from his last assignment he looked for new outpost and heard about Sir Mag’Nrs down south with a small chapel of his own over in Unnnan. Stout had had a small problem with previous authorities(- THEY CALLED ME A VILE LIL DWARF so i smashed his freakin brains in, of it was only one of my commanding officers), so as he saw Mag’Nr’s troops on the move he fell into his ranks. He did his best to blend in, looking towards Lady KeyHob to get him his own MORGOG? during the attack. He would follow Mag’Nrs in the motions and then look to use ORATORY to get followers to go with him towards the Cathrdral of Man where they would wreck havok, then take potshots at both Forge and Scout as the scourge of the Morgothians- NO TAKING SHIT FROM THAT LITTLE BASTARD; while making it wall the way to the Warmonger by means of PAR-LEY to say “I am Sir Stout, loyal friend and follower of Marcus Dannor. I believe we had once had an alliance, how might me and mine, be of service to you?”
