He was a powerfully built Da’uhnb, and his uniform had elements of many sea-faring and space-faring cultures. His name was Grand Admiral Sessoren Thie’Gann and he was one of the few Da’uhnb to openly defy the Da’uhnb Queen.
There was but one Da’uhnb Queen, and she had given birth to all of the time traveling Da’uhnb. Her own existence was said to stretch across timelines in a way that might break a mortal mind.
Since as long as time can remember the Da’uhnb Queen ruled the Da’uhnb, and sent them across all timelines hunting down demons and consuming them. Each was brought back to her, and she fed upon the regurgitated, digested spirit of the ancient evil essenses and used it birth new Da’uhnb.
That was until the dark days of the K’ias Wars. A time so long ago that 10,000 years seems short in comparison. But in that ancient war the K’ias captured the Da’uhnb queen and delivered her to the Quall Hivequeens. And the Da’uhnb queen was infected with their larval, and consumed by one of their young. And all thought her lost.
Most especially the Grand Admiral, and his love of his queen led him to lead onward without her. He did what he could for his fellow Da’uhnb. and was so joyous when at the height of the modern Border Wars of Refuge, the Da’uhnb Queen was restored to them.
But his joy soon turned sour. She rebuked his years of service, dumped on the state of the Temporal Empire, and denied his greatest achievements. All this the Grand Admiral would accept without complaint, but when the Dragon of Unity was formed, and Kalok the Volcano rose up, he wondered if the Ancient Evils were winning.
He acted against his Queens wishes and gathered a group of Human Servants, rogue aliens, and sent them against the Quall N’drone. Specifically targeting HiveQueen Ar’yay he succeeded in turning the Iron Republic against her, and drawing the Unity down upon her.
Yet her Martyrdom at the hands of Agents of G.A.S.T. and their Beacon City allies gave birth to a new and unexpected species, the Ar’yeserai. Seeing finally he had been targeting one good Quall Queen among so many corrupt and cruel ones, the Grand Admiral realized his Queen had been right all along.
But it was too late. For despite the fact that Da’uhnb can travel through time, they cannot undo their own mistakes even if it seems they can, to temporally locked species like our own.
The Agents of G.A.S.T. currently report to Amyl Endith, a half-da’uhnb Cambion who serves as the delegate to agents in the field.
Amyl Endith does not work with the Temporal Enforcement Agency in any official capacity, though he is known for sending rescue squads and teams to save T.E.A. agents in good standing who are stuck on alternate timelines.
