Goblin Lands Intermission 2 Week 2 Mission: The Jailbreak of Kolgol

#1

Gobbog paced in his chambers. He knew he could save Kolgol from the demon’s grasp if he could give him the blessing of the Ar’yeserai. But first he would need to rescue him from the EEF holding facility, and get a team of elites who could break into the EEF holding facility with no collateral damage.

Gobbog didn’t want to make EEF enemies, so no one could get hurt. But they would need to get past soldiers and defenses and somehow hide their nature.

It was time to find some allies.

He sent out comm-crystals to the Rhug’na’ru and the few living members of the Ka Rhug who hadn’t succumbed to demonic nature (the Aryeserai wouldn’t work with demons).

He hoped others would show up as well.

—ooc----
This would be a raid of Gobbog, Kitty the Aegelis, four former Kolgul Militiagogs and whatever heroes want to join him in liberating the religious dissident Kolgol.

No One but Gobbog and the Aryeserai Former KGM would know about Gobbog’s plan to offer Kolgol an Aryeserai larva to save him from Kalok’s evil tendrills. Not even Kitty the Aegelis.

Mission Rules
First player to post gets a repost when all other players have finished posting to the mission in response to all other actions.
All other players may only make 1 posting.
Other players may only act as if they have seen the action of the first player who posts.
All other actions are compressed together by the DR team with a focus on storyline, so do not worry about paradoxes between different action posts.
Not every aspect of every action will be shown. This is especially true of actions that exceed two paragraphs.

Special Challenges: Don’t Kill the EEF Guards
This base is in the Brezan Holding Zone, a five building military camp near the Hovertrain. There are also ten EEF Infantry Guards (standard stats DR Core book) and five EEF Special Forces Goliaths (standard stats in DR Core book).
They are guarded by four armored towers with Mounted .50 cal machineguns and Anti-Air missiles in each and an immutable guard (S.A.R. 25), and have five other buildings (Barracks S.A.R. 25, Armory S.A.R. 15, Cell Block A S.A.R. 30, Cell Block B S.A.R. 30, Cell Block C S.A.R. 30)
They also have one patrol of 3 EEF Gunpods flying overhead.

As long as none of the guards are killed, there will be one chance to rescue Kolgol as he steps out of his cellblock (currently unknown) and walks towards the main gates surrounded by the 5 Goliaths. Then he will be loaded into an APC and driven to the hovertrain. In those moments before the APC is loaded Kolgol could be rescued without having to take on the entire army.

Open to all tribes and all mercs

Only 1 Character from each account may be sent to this mission.
Except for Ka Gor who can send the above listed units.

This mission ends on Friday 3th October at 8.PM. E.S.T.

Come here for planning the Jailbreak

Olgog the Olgog

Bile is a horrible taste that few on this planet could truly understand. Those that are immutable have the fortunate advantage to taste this every time bad situations occur. “Maybe this is why Striker and Shiro hated dealing with the repercussions of his actions?” The thought resonated with him for a moment “Its better to give orders than to take them”

Walking away from the group, his message was given, it was up to them to accept his help. Making sure he was far enough away to not be overheard he makes a radio call.

Crackle . . Hissss

This is UrLur, how can I help you?

the kolgol are attempting to steal the egg, better let the eagle know

Got it

A quick conversation, something that shouldn’t be worry some to others.

Purposely walking back, he starting muttering about stupid damn near feral bruskies. Showing [feigned] disgust for the tribe he is champion of.

When asked, OtO retorts about the stupid gogs touching his power armour and now he has to figure out how to fix it.

UrLur hated speaking in code, but he knew what this meant. He was to call this General Giffords fellow and speak to him. To relate that there are gogs trying to steal one of their prisoners to unleash him inside this world.

UrLur knew of the disdane that OtO had for the EEF, but this must be someone worse for him to sabotage this mission, especially one where he could potentially gain supplies for his power armour and these nanite syringes he keep bitching about.

So UrLur did his duty, and picked up a com crystal. A new voice spoke in a language he didn’t know, confused for a moment the voice repeated itself, aeeeee aeeee eeeeffff switchboard said the unfamilar voice. Giffords, General Giffords , I need to speak to him.

“One moment please” , some unintelligible crap this thing said but noise started to repeat again.

OOC: Im running out of time for this post.

UrLur would state location, time, and what forces (related to him by OTO) are coming to jailbreak Kolgol. Would mention OtO as champion of Mag Buskt and nothing else, would give OtO’s recommendation, which is to extract him sooner.

Dargor’lur was happy to be in Brez again, having been raised there. With as much stealth as he could he watch the prison, not staying in one place to long, not going to the same area more then once a day. He would also watch for the day when they moved Kolgol. When that day came he struck.

First a small ball of shadow leyas to the vehicle if machine. If animals then a Shadow puppet to scare them and draw attention away from Kolgol.

Then once he could see the fallen leader Dargor’lur would shadow walk to him and shadow walk him away, using his knowledge of the area to get away.

If that is not possible then using a a pair of Lightning Strike rings he will do enough to disable those around Kolgol so he could get away.

Once they were away he would, instead of taking him to any meet up point, take him out of the city. After a stop in Unen to meet with a friend to get any EEF items off of him then from there a run to Tla’loc’al.

Details
Dargor’lur Ur Rhug Leyas Rating 4 (Adept), Shadow Lvl 3, General Lvl 1 Survival (Goblin Lands) skill of 5, Leyas Combat Ranged skill 5

If Godart Helps out:

Five Aryeserai dressed in EEF uniforms would ride in along with Godarts Gog’s. They would be armed with spring shot rifles and carry obscurement stones.
They would ride up, collect Kolgol and bring him back to the Embassy down in the old Ka For tribal lands.

If Kolgol saved but their capture immanent, Kitty would be summoned by Gobbog to bring him to the Aryeserai.

IF Godart didn’t help:

Kitty and Gobbog would focus fire Leyas fire attacks on the rear of the base (targeting wards with Destroy Ward (fire 6) and then try and aid Orlurs plan of saving Kolgol.

They would use Brain fever to disable nonimmutable guards during the attack.
Immutable vehicles would be melted by Kitty using Fire lvl 6 to cut through their hover emitters.

Up until now, Kolgol had spent much of his jail time contemplating his situation, and how he might begin to improve his standing on Der’al once more. After all, razing a city to the ground and burning the inhabitants that tried fleeing the destruction tended to add a negative connotation to one’s reputation. Add the fact that the patron deity of their tribe, the demon-lord Kalok, had manifested physically and taken his people to his own private dimension, and one gets the feeling that the tribe of Ka’Rhug is not something you’d want to be openly associated with.

Despite this, Kolgol knew that he was one of the few members of his tribe that still had the pull necessary to regain some autonomy from their god, being that most of the powerful aufgogs were now either dead, in hiding, or indoctrinated so thoroughly that they had no desire to break free any longer.

However, these damned EEF were getting in his way with their very proactive suppression tactics. He didn’t know where they were transferring him, but he got the feeling that it would be best for him if he never arrived at that destination.

(Note: While he doesn’t know that a rescue attempt is underway, he will react once it becomes evident to him what is happening)

His first reaction would be escape itself, to get away from the facility and back to Mt Rhug. If it is clear to him that this simply will not work, he will stick with the people least likely to turn around and put him on their own trial, or take him before a UTR council. While he knew they would be trying to do the right thing, he just could not waste time deliberating when his tribe was depending on him.

(I’m assuming there is some sort of leyas inhibiting device on him or wards nearby, as otherwise escape would have been a cinch before this. If this is not the case, or he becomes free of these binds, he will use Melt Metal Greater to escape his transport and will Fire Leap away.)

OtO would have helped, he even had a plan. But his offer wasn’t accepted, even the one where The Ka gor tribe would be monitors of the land until his trials were done.

But that doesn’t matter now. He didn’t like the kolgol tribe, but other than what he had done by notifying General Giffords secretly no other action will be taken
