An audience with Lord Mada

#1

Yohai, through Fallen Commander ability known only to Uthvelor and Pelebor, speaks to Lord Mada.

“Lord Mada, I am Yohai Ha’ku. It has been many years since we met, but I know you are in the Goblin Lands currently. I will be visiting you shortly. Please do not be alarmed. I am am unwelcome, I will leave immediately.”

ooc: If I do not know where Mada’s keep is, I’ll use Instant Recall. If Lord Mada has some protection against my being able to discern where the keep is, please let me know and I will make other arrangements and the rest can be ignored

Yohai, with a swipe of his sword, tears through reality and steps through to Lord Mada’s foyer. He wears black nightmare plate. On his chest is the sigil of the Akalus Legionnaire, two crossed scythes. He wears a grey helm and matching faceplate, which appears to be altered by the Leyas so that it mimics his face. He announces himself to whomever is present. “I am Yohai Ha’ku of the Akalus Legionnaire. Lord Mada is expecting me.”

#2

SPARCS! Get Down ! Sit!

a Deep blue young doomwurm goes skittering across the foyer

A deep Thump is heard as the Doomwurm sits on his haunches.

“Good boy Sparcs!” Is heard as a Kiorn in raider mail, a death head helmet and a pitch black cloak walk into sight

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a leg of . . . something . . . and throws it at Sparcs. Ryuk walks over to Sparcs and strokes his head. “Good Boy”

Ryuk looks around, see some person there and says

"Who are you and why should I care?

#3

Yohai did not expect to see the doomwurm. Almost reflexively he reached for his sword, Dosojin, to destroy it. However, he did not want to ruin the purpose of his visit…yet. He looked at the person before him, getting a good look at him. Yohai sized him up, taking note of garb, insignias, weaponry, and other physical features.

“I am Yohai Ha’ku. Lord Mada is expecting me.”

#4

Ryuk

"Yes, yes, and you’re a part of something called the Akalus legionnaire; I can hear. Still doesn’t answer my question. And Lord Mada may be expecting you, but he is not here. He seems to be avoiding me, and I need to have words with him.

The Sierra Mada; what a stupid name, it sounds like something a dumb inebriated earther would come up with. He should be better than that, especially since he is kasanthian.

I’ve been looking for him for a few hours, he isn’t here. You can either deal with me or try again later"

OOC: there are no insignias on Ryuk or his armour, no weaponry is visible.

#5

The Uthvelor knew he was being goaded. Why else, after stating his name and purpose, would the creature before him state he didn’t answer the question? Subcreatures indeed. But Yohai spent years among the EEF and their Variable Light Assault Division, so he was used to such antics.

“What further information do you expect? I gave my name in purpose.”

Yohai exuded calm. His quicksilver-colored face mask betrayed no emotion.

#6

Ryuk

You told me that you are here to speak with Mada, something that can be accomplished with a call. You identified yourself by way of this Legion, which is awfully formal if you were friends.

So if you are here formally, and this is a matter that requires your presences, that means you want something. That something is what I want to know.

What are you hear to speak about with mada?

#7

Yohai was again confounded by rituals of other races. He had thought that by living among the Earthers and Children of the Falosini he would understand them better. Sadly, he did not.

“I thought it was custom to introduce yourself accordingly, especially when you carry an honorific title. It is how we show way honor to those who earned it, even among friends. I would have tought that a K’iorn would know that.”

#8

Ryuk

"Really? Since when? Why do people keep telling me I should know these things? It takes to long to go through titles though, when you know people such as I.

By the stars, I even refer to my admiral by her first name.

Why do people love these useless ceremonies?"

#9

"To show honor to those who have earned their title and rank…no matter what. And where I come from, you always remember. " Yohai’s patience was becoming thin. And to always remember whose sword can cleave you in two.. He was suddenly reminded of the time he and Killian had become close to Gohan Starsmith of the Morgothians. It was a lesson about titles that Sir Killian would never forget again.

"As to why the K’iorn don’t teach their young properly, I cannot say.

#10

Ryuk

Young? Being Taught? Nope, don’t remember anything like that.

Have you dealt with Kasantians before? Because I have, and not just Mada. A normal greeting typically involves shooting each other in the face.

Ryuk pulls out a notebook

Itash, borvis, mcmurphy, vlad, Iron republic, AH here’s a blank page!

Ryuk starts writing things down

mumbling, Akalus legion, likes titles spoken at meeting, more seems better.

Ryuk looks up

How do you spell your name?

#11

Yohai remained unmoved, his ever thinning patience not reflected on his countenance.

“That is twice you’ve asked me my name without giving yours. Or your title.”

#12

Ryuk

“Oh, yeah, I keep forgetting people down here on this rock don’t know me by reputation”

“Lets see” Ryuk says as he puffs up his chest.

“I’m Leftenant Ryuk of the Kansantian Federation; The Trialat’s finest Son; Owner of Ryuk’s Casino, the best place to gamble in space”

Ryuk takes a deep breath

“That’s a wordy thing to say”

#13

Yohai blinked. Slowly. The Kasanthian actually thought his title was too much to bear for himself…

…as if it granted him too much responsibility. As if a Kasanthian did anything to earn the title or spend their days doing anything of consequence. This K’iorn owned a casino and didn’t even have to be there to run it. He was a Leftenant in an army and yet wasn’t serving.

Yohai had had enough.

“Thank you, Leftenant Ryuk.”

He then turned sideways, and in one motion drew his nodachi, ripped through reality, And walked through the portal. The portal was quickly sealed behind him. He never bothered to look back at Ryuk’s reaction.

Upon returning to his keep, Yohai took a moment to ponder what he saw. Using his Fallen Commander ability, he sent a message to Karrah and Raven of the EEF, and Killian the Morgothian. The message said, “Kasanthian housing baby doomwurm in Olgog Territory. Careful, area around keep irradiated. Keep belongs to Lord Mada, the dragon belongs to Leftenant Ryuk, a K’iorn who fancies himself as the Trilat’s favorite son, owns a casino in space…whatever that means. Worst part, the K’iorn is an idiot with no manners. Proceed accordingly.” Yohai would then send the mental image of the interior of the keep, the embedded image of Ryuk that he had taken in, and of the doomwurm called Sparc.
