A day in the tribe of GulTor'uf

#1

Bill survey his tribe, so many changes have happened since he first was assigned to this tribe. No longer is there fighting for every scrape of food and trickle of water, there is a cooperation between tribal members.

He wandered over to the food tent, where one of the elders of the tribe was showing some pups how to manage the tent. It wasn’t long ago when this was just a pit where fights took place for meals, now there is a place where food is stored and handed out as tribe members need it. The tent master continued showing the pups how to dry meat for storage. A pup adds too much salt on the meat, ruining it. An early mistake, and one that wastes some meat, but it is good for the pups to learn.

Continuing to the hunters lodge, a larger and odd shaped tent, Bill checks in on the hunters. The eldar was quite busy, several of the pups were having issues learning to make spears, there dexterity wasn’t quite were it needed to be to make the knots for the spearheads. Recently there was less meat around, as bill was pushing the tribe to only eat things that willing to die. Bill smiled at what has happened, this has caused the hunters to make deals with some of the local heards and carnavous animals, and the hunting has become a game. A high stakes game, but one that is a trade for food for food. Humorously, the predeters are more willing, as they see it as a way to eliminate the weaker memebers of the tribe, it reminds the gogs of Brezan society. This fits well with how the tribe was before Bill arrived.

The shepards of the tribe were having races again, it seems that the first three places had the honour of being feed to the rest of GulTor’Uf. Watching the winners get to walk one more lap, Bill watched as some of the pups slit the throats of the animals and then began cutting out strips and hunks of meat. All in all, this looked like the end of an efficient hunt, until the meat was gathered and the elder revived each animal. An inquiry was in order, to find out how the elder shepard managed to convince the animals to offer themselves for death. The animals were revived by the elder gog, and each animal was lead back to its herd. The thought that the eldar might have made some sort of arrangement flitters through Bills mind.

The plant stock, that needs checking. One of the most woefully underwelmed parts of the tribe before bill arrived, was now functioning. The gathers have been doing much better, after a fist or two made the gog in charge take his position more seriously. The elder was showing how to gather morning frost for water from the surface of plants. Being midday this would be impossible except the leyas elder was training his pups control. It looks like there was a few plants that have been turned into ice, and one that was encased in a beautiful star of ice. The collaboration was something nice to see. One of the new red furs was here to, scoffing at the water leyas. Being hated has caused them to treat unfamilar things with disdain.

Rapi og was leading the combat ring today, which meant hand to hand combat. For all the bad traits he has, treating people as possesions, taking things that he doesn’t need, he was an exceptional fighter. This is one of the few times since OtO defeated him that he was functioning. The combat elder was trying to show defencive manuevers, but Rapi og was just to fast to fight. Ages brings issues that Bill would like to ignore, there is too much to do.

The other elder was playing a game of hide and seek. Any and all skills were allowed, and Bill could feel several of the pups using earth leyas to hide, and he could hear quite a few of them. One or two seemed to be getting ver good at this game though.

The last elder seem to be off on a field trip with some of the pups, and a few of the elders. The tribe has been camped ever since OtO arrived, and seemed to be impacting the lessons of the pups. Wandering the trails of Karov wasn’t difficult, if you knew what to identifiers where, but being stationary pervents learning the trails.

The latest addition to the tribe, the tent where some leaders talk about what they want to take from OtO and OtO’s tent. This was the first time that guards were used, pretty much anywhere, and it looks like that it wouldn’t be effective to Bill. The individual gogs watching the tent often have moments of distraction, and even though they march around the tent at OtO is unarmed, his strenght may be enought to break out. The memory of the fight with his son still brought him discomfort.

His Katheron was acting strangly, something happend during his capture that changed his trainie. He was unsure of what happened, except his GulTor’uf was mobilized.

There was a few other gogs around, that were from different tribes. Each had some sort of need and from Bills influence, GulTor’uf started to fill these need, usuallaly with education. Several of the visitin gogs seemed impressed that the only thing the tribe asked for was to help others that need it.

OOC: I know I need to claim the pit mongrels and the others since I used them here

Bill gathered the tribal elders in a secluded space, he had much to speak on. The area was warded but they could still be seen just outside of camp. after about 15 minuets, Rapi’og ran towards the camp, gathered 5 gogs that he routinely trained with and ran off into the night. The other elders continue speaking for twice as long, and when the came back, all were silent in thought.

With recent developments, The tribe of gultor’uf went a radical shift. These ideas that what happens within your territory is okay, including killing and infecting other gogs disgusts pretty much every Uhryu there. The tribes council is dismissed, and this haste tribes are enabling the death of gogs.

The tents were moved into a defensive circle, the animals moved towards the center. tribe members went out, gathering herbs needed for Resurrection and healing potions. Any gogs [Ferals] that were willing to come and learn what to gather was shown, along with were to plant the seeds/cuttings of the plants (They’re many gogs here, others may need some later, we should replace what we use).

Inside the camp, large pots were being used to start stockpiling healing and Resurrection potions. Some had weapons to the side, and were being laced with the potions. Every gog that helped received proportionally amount of supplies back.

Even the pit mongrel, Kalok (sp? will check on name) was helping. His normal whiny personality dissipated when he started working to train the gogs to fight in a line with spears and other weapons.

Every facet of Gultor’uf’s life was changed, in preparation for the upcoming war. The Uhryu were sadden it was coming to this, but it seems there is no other choice, as everyone that gathers together creates laws that protect them for committing atrocities.
